Hi I'm Tiffany, I'm an Australian professional career nanny with over 12 years experience, I'm warm, fun, 38 years young, hardworking, clean and reliable. I grew up in Brighton,Victoria, completed VCE at Mentone Girls Secondary College and Sandringham Performing Arts Tech, then worked at a Performing Arts Summer Camp in New York for 2 years before scoring my first au pair position for a beautiful family of 3 children in New Jersey, USA. Upon my return I relocated to Sydney to study Entertainment Management and Events where I sang professionally in various corporate and wedding bands, children's theatre shows, and coordinated music events, festivals and productions while temping as a nanny for clients i met through the industry to help support myself between big events.
In 2010 I moved back home to Melbourne, scored a role with the Australian Institute of Children and Music Development and discovered my passion for children's development. As a heydeeho presenter I travelled to and from local kindergartens with props, puppets and musical instruments, teaching babies, toddlers and preschoolers a variety of structured programs of songs, rhythm & movement. Simultaneously I joined Melbourne's Leading Nanny Agency and was awarded Nanny of the Month within 8 weeks. After my nomination for Carer of the Year in 2014, I knew i was onto something so delved l into multiple newborn workshops, childhood development seminars and began researching behaviours and strategies and gaining some volunteer work in a kindergarten thanks to a client. I've since completed my certificate III in childcare and been hired by over 45 families where I've gained a world of further experience in parenting dynamics, developmental challenges and family management. I joined the Australian Nanny Association in 2010 to assist with setting up my business 'FairyTiffany Entertainment' and my primary experience lies with girls between 6 months and 7yo. I have also worked with boys, babies, teenagers and special needs children in the form of Aspergers, Autism, ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorders and Separation Anxiety.
For a little extra I clean, cook, transport children and travel on holidays. You could come home to a sparkling house and clean, fed, children if I'm your nanny! I'm a firm believer of minimal television, getting out of the house as much as possible and always bring with me my craft box, preplanned educational and developmental activities, first aid kit, and a variety of puzzles and games to excite and entertain. I have a huge collection! I love to count, colour and use every opportunity out and about to teach the importance of literacy, safety, manners and listening, often through song!
I have a current safety in first aid, CPR certificate, police check, working with children's check and can easily provide a long list of previous happy mummies for reference.
I have just returned to this site after a few years without the need as my business is a little quiet this year so a lot of my skills are not in this profile. I'm currently seeking a brand new, loving appreciative and reliable family to sink my teeth into for the next 2 years ideally 2-3 long days per week. Available Mondays Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays as Thursdays I volunteer at a disability centre for adults with brain injuries and use the morning for various medical appointments and admin. My rate is now 42ph + super but may come down to as low as 38 for the right family. * Conditions apply. I enjoy cleaning helping with laundry and becoming apart of the family as i still keep in touch with many of my previous clients as I think it's important for the children after the bond we've created where possible and it helps me manage my mental health too. I look forward to hearing from you!
