We’re looking for a caring, confident, and experienced babysitter to help care for our 2-month-old son, Rupert.
This is a casual daytime position with flexible weekday hours, and we’re also interested in occasional evening babysitting.
You’ll need to be extremely confident with newborn care, including bottle feeding and settling, sleep training is a plus!! and have a genuine passion for supporting child development and helping achieve milestones.
We have a friendly 1.5-year-old golden retriever, so you’ll need to be comfortable around dogs. During naps (if you can get him to sleep haha) light household help such as sterilising bottles, assisting with laundry, and general tidying would be appreciated.
If you’re nurturing, reliable, and love working with little ones, we’d love to hear from you!
The reason why I’m looking for some extra help is Ru seems to be a party animal in the day and I’m struggling getting things done so it will be nice for me to have someone who I can trust to sit and hold him and help me out for a few hours a week to give me a breather. :)
We are a NOR-based homeschooling family looking for a fun and energetic person to help our three primary aged children with their school work + play on Fridays or Mondays (pending your availability) for 4-6 hours. For the right candidate, there may also be additional hours available on other days of the week.
The suitable candidate would be confident working with neurodiverse families and would be happy to get down on the floor and play with our children; doing things such as reading books, board games, puzzles, drawing, pretend play and walking to the park.
Taking the initiative to tidy up toys, wash up after kids’ meals, stack/unpack dishwasher and ask if there is any washing to fold, is appreciated. The role will not involve any heavy housework.
We are looking for someone with experience in caregiving for children and preferably with a formal qualification or studying towards one. This role would be perfect for a teaching student, OT student or speech therapy student looking to get some experience in paediatrics and with neurodiverse children.
Police Clearance, Working with Children Check, Current First Aid Certificate, References and Drivers Licence are essential.
If you feel you suit the above, I look forward to hearing from you.
Looking for someone with newborn experience (10 week old) to help me out with our new little girl for a few hours occasionally. Flexible around days / times. Located in Scarborough.
