We're a professional family looking for an experienced and reliable nanny to support our 9-year-old daughter, who is homeschooled. The position is initially for one morning per week (ideally Tuesdays), with the possibility of increasing hours for the right person.
We're hoping to find someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with children, is proactive in planning activities and outings, and can build warm, positive relationships with children and families. A background in education or a related field is highly desired, although this isn't essential.
Ideally, you'll be someone who:
Is warm, patient, emotionally attuned, and enjoys connecting with children.
Is reliable, organised, and able to commit to a regular weekly schedule, including school holidays.
Is creative and enthusiastic about supporting learning through activities, projects, and outings.
Has prior nannying experience or a background in education.
Is comfortable building relationships within the homeschooling community.
Holds the relevant safety checks and has their own car
We're looking for someone who can become a consistent and valued part of our family who understands the importance of supporting busy mums who carry the mental load. Opportunities exist for additional hours as the relationship develops.
Location: Mount Lawley
Hours: One morning per week initially
Pay: Negotiable, depending on experience and qualifications
