My husband and I are an active family with two young children aged 4 years and almost 2 years. Our home is relaxed, structured, and child-focused, with an emphasis on routine, outdoor play, and age-appropriate activities. We value kindness, reliability, and open communication, and are looking for someone who will feel comfortable becoming a trusted part of our family and supporting our children's development in a caring, nurturing way.
The ideal caregiver is warm, reliable, and confident caring for young children. They will hold a valid driver's licence and feel comfortable picking up children from school and daycare as part of the afternoon routine.
This role suits someone who enjoys engaging children in age-appropriate activities in the afternoons, both at home and outdoors, and who can proactively prepare afternoon snacks and begin light dinner preparation for the family.
The caregiver will also be happy to assist with ad hoc household tasks as time allows, such as tidying play areas or putting on a load of washing. We are looking for someone organised, trustworthy, and able to manage afternoons calmly while supporting our children's routines and development.
