She is also starting to experience big emotions, so we are looking for someone who is able to help her identify her emotions and comfort her through any feelings that may overwhelm her. We would like a babysitter who adopts screen-free and child-led play, and someone who genuinely enjoys playing and engaging with toddlers and is willing to follow Aria’s cues and interests (which might mean potentially repeating the same word over and over again, or playing the same game over and over again!). We are looking for someone to delight in Aria, encourage her and help her understand her experiences.

Some things we will not be expecting you to do include: putting Aria to sleep, making food (other than getting pre-made snacks for Aria), cleaning/housework.

We don't require assistance with house work, but do sometimes need assistance with preparing his meals; just taking what's available/ precooked out of the fridge - lunch and possibly dinner if he gets hungry earlier. The father often works from home and can help with diaper changing, lifting the baby and questions. Our son is a gentle, contemplative boy who loves to giggle at silly antics and play with his toy cars. We speak to him in two languages Serbian and English. We are 5 min walk from train station and there is a free parking space directly infront of our house you can use.

On the Wednesdays with our youngest, we expect he will be pretty exhausted starting prep, so it might be a quiet day at home with games and puzzles or potentially a visit to the park. You will have access to our car if required, a lot is within walking distance.
