Mainly looking for saturday late afternoon and school holidays. All training and ongoing support is provided by me so no need for prior experience but this is highly regarded. You would need to have a passion for working with children and learning new skills as well as be adapatable and able to handle ongoing training and feedback. Someone who is working in or aspiring to work in behaviour support, occupational therapy, speech therapy or physio therapy would be perfect for this role as we work closely with these therapies and integrate goals into what we do with the children on a daily basis. Hello - we are a family of 5 located in Ashburton. We have three beautiful children - 9 y/o girl, 8 y/o boy and a 6 y/o boy - and are looking for a nanny to help with before and after school care on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We would also love to have someone who can stay a few hours while the children are at school to help with general household tasks related to the kids (ie - meal prep, laundry, baking of school snacks, etc).
Specific timing would be 7:15 am to 9:15 am and then from 3 pm to 6 pm. The additional hours to cover general tasks is flexible and we're happy to make the timing suit your schedule.
In the mornings (7:15 - 9:15 am) we are specifically looking for someone to assist with getting the kids ready for school and assist in drop off. There may be time for meal prep or after school snack prep. We are less than a 5 min walk to school so no driving required.
The afternoons (3 pm - 6 pm) will include gathering after-school snacks, assisting in school pick-up (3:30 pm), and taking the kids to activities. We will provide the car for transport and most activities are about a 10 min drive from our home. When home from activities we'll need help getting them showered and some dinner prep.

We are a family of four, looking for an experienced infant nanny for TWO weekdays (can be flexible which days) per week of care for our baby daughter. She will be approximately six months old at the time of commencement in mid May 2025 - to support mother's return to work. We are looking for drop off / pick up support and 1 full day - but we are flexible with days and can work around your availability - Approx 23 hours per week. As a guide we’re looking for the following days / times:
Monday - 7:30 - 6 (full day)
Tuesday - 7:30-9:30 (drop off)
Wednesday 7:30-9:30 and 3-6 (drop off and pick up)
Friday 7:30-9:30 and 3-6 (drop off and pick up)
Depending on days the role includes getting ready for school (breakfast, lunchboxes and drop off (5 min walk), pick up, activities like swimming and tennis lessons, simple dinners for children and generally keeping the house tidy (putting toys and washing away, cleaning up after meals etc).
On the full day (which could be Monday, Wednesday or Friday depending on what works for you) we would love your help to keep the house running smoothly - errands, light housework, washing kids clothes and meal prep.

After collecting the children from school/sport, main duties would be folding washing, preparing evening meal, one 'bigger job' per week (like clean windows or change sheets or wipe out fridge), perhaps a bit of ironing or prepping lunchbox snacks or some local errands.
