I am looking for someone to help with the care of my 9 month old son, Harry. I am a solo mother and have recently returned to work 3 days per week. Harry is in childcare 4 days a week and I need someone to help with daycare pickups and afternoon/evening routine on the days I am working. The daycare is walking distance from my house. My hours can be quite variable and some days I may not be home until the evening. I also will need occasional help during the day (days may vary week to week), particularly if Harry is unwell and can't attend daycare. Harry does not attend daycare on Mondays so I am also looking for someone who can care for him for 3-4 hours on a Monday.
It would be great if I can find someone who can help with some general jobs in the house too etc. washing, cleaning, cooking for Harry.

He is supported after school 3pm-8pm, weekends and school holiday. One of his current support workers is going away later in the year and we are looking to start training someone to replace her starting end of june. Days are flexible with, tuesday s d wedensday after school available and fortnightly Sundays 3pm-8pm available. To start with we would be looking for 1-2 shifts per week with the potential to increase in the future. All training and ongoing support is provided by me so no need for prior experience but this is highly regarded. You would need to be mature, nurturing, and to have a passion for working with children and learning new skills as well as the ability to stay calm when child is dysregulated and adapt to ongoing training and feedback. Someone who is either working in or aspiring to work in behaviour support, occupational therapy, speech therapy or physio therapy would be perfect for this role as we work closely with these therapies and integrate goals into what we do with the children on a daily basis. Please note a drivers licence and access to a car is essential for the role.
