He is supported after school 3pm-8pm and on weekends and school holidays. Looking for someone who has availability on at least one of the listed weekdays and one of either fortnightly Saturday mornings 9am-1pm or fortnightly Sundays 10am-3pm or 3pm-8pm. The hours have potential to increase if desired by early next year as one of his current team members will be finishing her degree and moving on. All training and ongoing support is provided by me so no need for prior experience in support work but this is highly regarded. You would need to be mature, nurturing, and to have a passion for working with children and learning new skills as well as the ability to stay calm when child is dysregulated and adapt to ongoing training and feedback. Someone who is either working in or aspiring to work in behaviour support, occupational therapy, speech therapy or physio therapy would be perfect for this role as we work closely with these therapies and integrate goals into what we do with the children on a daily basis. Please note a drivers licence and access to a car is essential for the role. Domestic duties would be minimal, mainly relating to serving kids food and clean up after food and play.

Our needs:
SHORT TERM
Our daughter is starting prep in late January and we are looking for care for both children from 12-25 January 2026 on week-days. There can be flexibility with start times as I generally work in the afternoons.
After this period, we need care every Wednesday mainly for our daughter from 4 February to 4 March (inclusive).

LONG TERM
In the long- term we would be potentially looking at regular Fridays (daytime), after school pick-ups on Mondays and Wednesday and periodic evenings if you were interested.
