We’re looking for a special person to support our wonderful 5-year-old daughter, who has a physical disability. She is very social, chatty, playful and full of personality, and loves being out and about and engaged in activities.

Our much-loved support worker of the past 18 months is unexpectedly moving back overseas, so we’re looking for someone wonderful to become part of our team.

While our daughter is active and increasingly independent, she does need quite a lot of hands-on physical support throughout the day, including help with mobility, transfers and some everyday activities. For this reason, we’re looking for someone who is physically fit and strong, and comfortable with a role that involves regular lifting and physical assistance.

Ideally, we’d love a nursing, medical, allied health or similar student who is calm, confident and responsible. She also has epilepsy, so we need someone comfortable following an emergency plan if a seizure occurs. Her seizures are infrequent and mostly occur overnight.

We’re looking for someone on Mondays during the day, with the possibility of every second Tuesday morning as well. There may also be occasional additional hours on other days or evenings. We’re based in Croydon North.

We are seeking a caring and experienced nanny to be part of our family in Camberwell/Canterbury area, Melbourne on Mondays and Thursdays. for after school pick ups as we look after our three wonderful kids (girl age 9 who loves arts and crafts, boy age 11 who is basketball mad and boy age 14 who will pretty much look after himself). Our current nanny has unfortunately had to move back interstate for personal reasons.
