I’m looking for someone to help with afternoons/evenings for my two kids (9YO girl and 14YO boy) on Weds and Thursday.
Includes school pick up (mostly for the 9YO as the 14YO can often walk home or has activities), taking them to activities, organise dinner, put away kids washing, tidy toy room, make lunches for the kids the next day. At this stage, weds is netball training and Thursday swimming lessons for the 9YO. However it might also include picking up my son after school sport (still confirming the schedule).
If you can walk the dog before school pick up that’s also welcomed but would mean a start time of 230 instead of 330. Finish time will usually be around 7.
Note: We did have two wonderful nannies for 18 months but both managed to get internships. A friend of one of those nannies is doing Mon/Tues, so need someone to do the other days. I found having two nannies worked well where things came up and they could also fill in for each other.
Hello, I’m looking for a regular nanny to help with kinder/school pick up on Mondays - mainly collecting and hanging out with my 4 yo, as my older kids finish school late that day. Detail: 2.45pm-5pm Mondays; kids are 4 (boy), 6 (girl) and 10 (girl); our car will be provided for kinder/school pick up; potential for additional ad hoc babysitting if interested (e.g. evenings, school holidays).
My kids are pretty relaxed and enjoy low key activities like going to the park, doing craft, reading, imaginative play and jumping on the trampoline. I was a nanny when I was a uni student, and would welcome someone like my younger self! If you're keen to have a regular part time nanny job and get to know some fabulous kids, please get in touch.
I’m Pia, mum of 3 bubbly children looking for someone to help with school/kindy drop offs in the mornings and then pick ups from 3pm in Glen Iris, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. It would be split shifts, about 1.5-2 hours in the morning and then 3 hours in the afternoon.
I have a 4yr old boy at kindy, 7yr old girl in grade 2 and 10yr old boy, both at the same school. They have after school activities, so the role would involve getting them ready and driving them to these activities and looking after the remaining kids etc..
We’ve been fortunate to have a wonderful nanny the past 3 years and have loved seeing the kids form valuable connections.
We are offering a role that that involves wraparound care (Mon- Fri, mainly school pickup and activities in the afternoon) and Sat mornings approx 9:30am-1:30pm. We expect the chosen candidate to work approx 8-12 h/week.
Our daughter Tessa is 6yo and starting Year 1. She is extremely energetic, loves dancing, singing, swimming, skateboarding and pretending to be an adult. Our nanny needs to be a bit sporty to keep up with her (eg excursions to the zoo, swimming pool, roller blading, ice skating etc). Our son Harry is 7yo and on the Autism spectrum. He is funny, imaginative and attends mainstream school (where he is very cooperative and well-liked) but can be highly inflexible and controlling at home. He likes video games, Harry Potter and haunted / scary themes.
We are seeking a reliable nanny who brings high energy, creativity and patience. A drivers licence and car is required. We LOVE students in early / primary education or allied health!
We do not expect you to care for both children alone for extended periods and will provide appropriate training and support. Due to Harry's tendency to control Tessa, our aim in having a babysitter is to separate the kids on different excursions or supervise specific activities. We need someone who understands that sometimes we agree to unreasonable to demands from Harry at home because he has put in a huge effort to fit in at school. Although we can get extremely frustrated, there is no place for old-fashioned discipline in our house (we try to use a collaborative approach).
We are a busy family in Hawthorn seeking help with after school care for a 12yo girl and 7yo boy.

A drivers' license is needed, and you may drive either your or our car with the kids.
This can be a long term role if that’s what you are looking for. You will be employed as a casual and paid via payroll with tax deductions as required by law.

We are a small family of 3 and are looking for a nanny for our 8 year old son. Our son is a happy energetic loving child who is very good at maths, reading, music and spelling. We would like our nanny to be able to drive safely, pick him up from school, actively engage with his learning (writing and reading) and assist with his care in the evening - dinner and bedtime routine. Housework will be a part of the job description. Light cooking for our son and cleaning will be involved. We are both busy professionals and need someone who is trustworthy, structured/ organised, punctual and very reliable. Active engagement with his studies is important to us. Most importantly, a kind, patient and loving personality is essential for this job, given our son has autism and ADHD (diagnosed)
We seek an amazing nanny and carer to join our existing team. This role is different - you must be fit, competent with older children (the child is 11) and comfortable within yourself. You should be able to make independent and sensible decisions and be caring and compassionate. The child is special, living with a rare disability and loves life and lives to the full. They need extra care and you will be well supported by parents and other carers, this role sits well between a carer and nanny and will suit those who believe and have a passion for inclusion and who see themselves in a disability, health or care based role going forward. We are a hard working and local living family that pride itself on giving everything a go and have high standards to support our son and our aim for him to live his best life.
You must have experience with disability and understand that this is a hard and incredibly rewarding role. We will be looking for a genuine long term partnership with the right applicant who can stay with our family into the future.
