Our lovely baby sitter has moved so we’re seeking a reliable, local babysitter to assist with daycare and school pickup during the week. We live in Pascoe Vale and have two Swaussie (Swedish/Aussie) girls, aged 3 and 6. They enjoy going to the park, animals (we have an elderly dog and a cat), arts and crafts, reading books, and dancing. They’re very entertaining and enjoyable to be around, though they do have occasional meltdowns when it’s time to leave the park. We’re always happy to help if that happens if you struggle. :)

The role involves picking them up at 3 pm from daycare or school two days a week (we can be flexible with it being Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday). You’ll most likely take them to the park for a hour before we arrive home around 5 pm. They enjoy outdoor activities, but we only have a small yard, so visiting the park is ideal.

We’re looking for a local 20+ female who is confident, creative, active, playful, honest, safety-minded, reliable, and positive. A personal car is necessary for this role, as the school is about a 10-minute drive from our house. We’ll provide the car seats, but ideally, you’d be comfortable having them in most weeks (we’re happy to reinstall them every once in a while).

We want our kids to get the most out of their childhood, especially through play, and hope to find someone who can help facilitate that. We’ll pay a casual rate and you’ll need insurance. We are looking for someone to come and look after our little 1 year old girl 3 days a week, with one of those days also including our 4 year old boy. Both have been in full time childcare, however we are looking now to have a nanny that speaks Spanish to them as their father and extended family are Chilean.

It would be great if some light house keeping was also done if there was time - ie doing clothes washing etc.

We are a pretty creative and relaxed household with a friendly dog. The dog would love some cuddle and occasional walk if you wanted to take the baby and dog out during the day.

Hours would be around 6:45am to 9.15am and 3pm to 6.30pm Monday to Friday during school term. School holidays off. Open to a part-time, casual or contractor arrangement. The role involves commuting between the city, St Kilda and Essendon to drop off and collect the kids at different schools. We are open to someone using public transport (we live near Southern Cross station) or their own vehicle.

We are looking for an experienced babysitter or nanny with a car who could look after the children and basic household tasks from ~3-6.30pm up to 5 days per week. This would involve:
- School pickup at at 3.15pm in North Fitzroy,
- Taking the children to after school activities nearby on some days (judo & piano)
- Cooking simple meals
- Keeping the house tidy including packing up toys, hanging children's clothes on the washing line, and loading/unloading the dishwasher (cleaning not required)

Our children are easy going, love to read and draw, and to play and listen to music. They both eat everything and have no allergies, dietary requirements, or health issues. The one strict requirement is zero screen time.

I am looking for a caring and reliable babysitter for my 8 year old daughter, who has travelled the world, and is very sophisticated for her age. She is also at times very strong headed. So, a babysitter in early 20’s range, in my opinion, always works best for her, as she relates better to this age group.

I am currently a single mum while living in Melbourne, and my daughter and I have recently relocated from New York. I grew up here, and am currently enrolled in university in the city. I am hoping to find someone kind, dependable, and consistent who can become an important part of our support system.

The position will begin on Thursday, February 19. It will involve getting my daughter ready for school, dropping her off at Fitzroy North Primary in the morning, and picking her up after school. This schedule must remain consistent for 12 weeks, finishing on Thursday, May 7. These days and times are essential, due to my classes, and that I anm unable to do school drop off or pickup myself on Thursdays. I would like to arrange a paid trial first to make sure it is a good fit for everyone.

Beyond this, I am also looking for someone who may be available at other times on various days during the week. This part of the role would be more flexible rather than on a fixed schedule. We can work out what suits both of us if it feels like the right fit.
