Part-time care for 1 year old

Looking for daytime assistance for my 1 year old.

Care tasks include changing nappies, preparing and feeding meals (mostly solids, phasing out formula), settling her to sleep, pram walks and outdoor play, and indoor playtime to assist with developing her skills and language.

Experience in skill development and caring for 1 year olds is essential.

You will be:

- energetic and creative in play, including singing, reading, and activities;

- patient and kind;

- willing to help prepare basic meals;

- willing to assist with a small amount of housework related to caring for my little one (sterilising bottles, laundry, vacuuming and mopping play areas).

Essentials:

- a driving licence (we do not live near public transport);

- WWCC;

- police check;

- first aid qualification;

- if not a citizen/PR, a valid visa.

We are currently based in Point Cook and starting childcare, but can offer a minimum of 1.5 days. We will be relocating closer to the city in the first few months of 2027 and will be offering a similar arrangement of at least 1.5 days per week.

This role would suit someone located in between Point Cook and the city, who is open to changing work locations in the next few months when we relocate.
