My name is Emefa, a doctor and first time mum to my adorable Ivanna! Ivanna is 4 weeks old. Her daddy is going overseas to work from February, so I'll effectively be on my own. Unfortunately, Ivanna will only fall asleep during the day when she is carried, and will usually wake up when put on a bed/bassinet. This means my hands are literally tied during the day. She is otherwise very easy to look after. I need a baby sitter/nanny for 2 to 3 hours a day, 3 times a week to start with, to give me a short break for cleaning/cooking/shopping/a nap! I have exams later this year and would like to study 1 to 2 hours a day as well. Occasionally, I may need to leave the flat for short periods for appointments/shopping etc or take you with me to look after in the car if you don't mind.
If you're comfortable and/or have experience with a newborn baby, please get in touch. If you're happy to help clean/run errands as well I will pay extra. If you don't have any newborn experience but are reliable and happy to learn, you can also get in touch.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
We’re looking for a nanny for Monday - Wednesdays for our daughter Lucy starting early March (8am-5/6pm). She is active but also very easy going and sweet natured. She will be around 1 at the start of March. One of us will usually be working from home but we’d love for you to make a connection and have a relationship with Lucy! We would love your help with making Lucy’s lunch and some light chores (loading dishwasher, cleaning after Lucy’s lunch, vacuuming of living areas). If you speak mandarin or Cantonese (we’re trying to teach her), that’s a big bonus!
Our family is in need of a nanny for our sweet 5 month old baby boy, Oscar (6 months by start date).
Ideally someone near Leichhardt who is experienced, reliable, trustworthy and fun.
We both work mostly from home and so will be close by most of the time. We’re wanting someone to be able to give Oscar their full attention to play, read, go on walks, feed, cuddle and put him down for naps, while we work.
(Mum runs her own company and dad is in consulting)
It would be ideal that you can be flexible with times and days (as we can be), available for occasional night time babysitting/appointments and open to domestic travel if needed.
Hoping for 2 mornings per week to start (10am - 2pm approx, Tuesday’s and flexible for either Wednesday or Thursday), building onto this as we all become more comfortable — you’ll be his first ever carer other than his parents.
We’d love someone happy to do light housekeeping during any naps, small errands, shopping etc (when on walks).
We have a large but very friendly Labrador, so dog lover a must.
It would be a bonus if you speak Italian or another language and love music.
If you think you'd be a good match, please apply.
Hi we are looking for an au pair/nanny for three months. In lovely Dulwich Hill. We live right near Marrickville Road so easy for transport, lots of cafes and a great library. I am going to America for work on the 4th February for two and a half months. My husband will be directing full time on a TV show in Sydney so will be working full time.
We are looking for someone who can care for our daughter Ruby (13). We would like the person to move in (our place in Dulwich Hill has a self-contained granny flat with washing machine, kitchen, internet etc)
It has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It is fully renovated, very clean and has its own entrance. We are still furnishing the 2nd bedroom but it is quite a good size too.
We’re offering $500-600 per week as a wage with free rent. Depending on hours.
It will be five mornings from 7:30-9 and after school and some evenings.
We think approx hours a week will be 25-30. Basically, the person needs to be flexible. A police check and references would be a bonus. And to be vaccinated.
The main tasks will be in the morning, helping get Ruby out the door, making a healthy school lunch (she then catches the school bus) and tidying the house - and being home in the afternoon when she returns to help with any homework - and just to have someone around so that she’s not on her own every afternoon. If my husband is working at night, it would be great to help Ruby prepare dinner.
The person/people need to love dogs. We have three dogs - Pocket, Luna and Mini. Mini and Luna are rescue pups and a little crazy. They calm down when they know you. The person should be able to feed the dogs and sometimes hang out with them. We are getting a dog walker.
Encouraging Ruby to read, pack the dishwasher, do her washing, exercise and tidy her room will be a part of it, basically being a great big sister/mentor who is fun and positive to be around.
On Monday Ruby does math tutoring and on Tuesday English, and on Thursdays she catches the bus to dance but the person would need to pick her up at 7:30pm in Marrickville if my husband has to work back. We are happy to pay for an Uber on those occasions.
We have a cleaning lady but some light housework would be involved – just tidying up really before cleaner comes/ packing the dishwasher, putting clothes on to wash and to dry. And once a week shopping for groceries.
We would like an outgoing, honest, kind person. Ruby is really into dance and music. Supervising her with homework is a must. She is a great thoughtful girl who loves to laugh.
Thanks really look forward to hearing from you.
We have 2 children aged 5 and 7.
We are looking for someone to join our family and help us to provide a fun, family environment.
We require after school pick up at 3pm and then childcare until 6pm on Mon-Thurs and 5pm on Friday.

- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 3pm - 6pm
- pick up 9 year old girl and 7 year old boy from Orange Grove Public School, bring home, supervise afternoon tea, playing, park play and a little homework and prepare kids dinner which is usually heating up something no cooking from scratch
- looking for a caring person who will connect with the children to develop relationship with them
- prefer long term commitment, minimum 1 term
- some casual weekend and school holiday Care if available also
- drivers license & own car preferred but not essential as home is within walking distance of school

We are a friendly family of five in Annandale, with three kids aged 9, 7 and 5. We are looking for someone to care for our kids, oversee their morning routine and to help keep the house clean and tidy. The applicant is responsible for getting the kids ready for school and some light housework, including laundry, tidying and some house cleaning.
About us: Our kids are lovely and we hope you enjoy working with us. We are very family orientated, but a bit disorganised on the logistics of keeping a clean and tidy house. We work in education and health, so it’s very important that COVID safe measures are adhered to.
About you: Applicants should be experienced caring for primary school aged children, well organised, and able to identify requirements of the house, and proactively tidy, organise laundry and clean where needed.
This role is before school three days a week, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 7-1030am. The shift begins at 7am to help kids get ready for school- including making lunches and piano practise, unloading the dishwasher and tidying up the kitchen before walking them all to school. After school drop off, we need help with some light housekeeping, primarily laundry and tidying up, with some cleaning as needed.
Applicants must be triple vaccinated to apply, thanks.

Duties would involve pick-up from school and preschool, caring for both children and light housework (kids laundry and ironing of uniforms, kids meals). We have had a wonderful nanny for the past 3 years who we treated as part of the family but who sadly has to move on due to personal reasons and are looking for someone else to join our family. Our kids are loving, active and mostly well behaved :).
My kids Theodore (4 yrs old in feb) & Harriet (1.5 years) are normal little kids that both love doing activities and having fun.
Im flexible with a start date but am looking for ongoing Thursday & Fridays for the day while Im at work.
Harriet still has a nap in the middle of the day for 2-3 hours.
They go to daycare mon-wed so are well socialised.
Please let me know if you would like any more info.
