Meet Javiera: A nanny and babysitter in Elwood, VIC

Hi! I’m a qualified special education teacher from Chile with over nine years of experience working with children. I currently work as a teacher aide at a specialist school in Melbourne and I’m completing a Master of Education and Leadership.

I’m warm, patient and reliable, with experience supporting young and school-aged children, including children with disabilities and additional needs. I enjoy creative play, reading, outdoor activities and helping children feel safe and comfortable.

I’m happy to help with meals, homework, bath and bedtime routines, and I always leave play and kitchen areas tidy. I speak both English and Spanish and hold a valid Working With Children Check.

I’m based in Elwood and currently have immediate availability during the school holidays. I’m also interested in developing ongoing relationships with local families for after-school, evening and weekend babysitting.
