Meet Madeline: A nanny and babysitter in St Kilda, VIC

Hi everyone!

I’ve recently moved to St Kilda from New Zealand and am looking for nannying or babysitting work - either casual or something more long-term. I’m 24 and have a background in psychology and education, with several years of hands-on experience caring for children of all ages. I’ve worked as a long-term nanny, in kindergartens, and in primary and specialist school settings - including supporting children with additional needs.

I’m naturally very warm, patient and calm, and I really value building genuine, trusting relationships with the children I care for. I love creating a fun, safe and engaging environment, whether that’s getting outdoors, doing arts and crafts, imaginative play, or supporting learning and routines in a way that feels positive and encouraging.

I’m reliable, organised and confident managing day-to-day routines, and I try to bring a gentle, nurturing approach to everything I do.

I’m based in St Kilda and don’t currently have a car, so I’m best suited to roles nearby or accessible by public transport.
