Hi, my name is Samantha and I am an experienced teacher, nanny and babysitter with first-aid/CPR , anaphylaxis, asthma certificates, blue card, licence and car. I have a primary teaching degree and a diploma in children’s services. I’m also a mum to two teenage boys. I am confident in looking after children from birth through to teenagers. I am a responsible, reliable, caring and fun person and I understand the importance of providing a safe and fun environment for your children. I love kids, have raised 3 girls on my own, understand children very well, have worked for over 12 years in a primary school and 8 years in a childcare centre, constantly have children around and in my life and love it that way. I have a Social Science Degree (majoring in social welfare) & I also have a Diploma in Community Welfare Work, a current First Aid Certificate & a Blue Card. I have my own car, an open drivers license & of course I adore children & I am very competent with babies, twins including newborns & I'm happy to do a double up with friends or other family members, depending on how many children & their ages. I am a mum & my daughter has her own young children, so I am also just Nana to my adorable grandchildren. I am available on the weekends to babysit, I just require prior notice & if possible, I do like to meet the children before I babysit. I feel that this makes everyone much more comfortable & gives you, the parent, peace of mind. Otherwise, I am happy to arrive at least 15mins early to allow some time to meet & play with the children before you leave. I've completed a Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care & I worked for 9 yrs as the Lead Educator in all the rooms from 6weeks to 6 years. I am a 31 years old Chilean living in Noosa with a Working Holiday Visa. I am charismatic and love to work with children. I have been working as a baby sitter for about 10 years in Chile and 2 years in Melbourne, Lorne and Noosa. In the time I had spend in Australia, I worked closely with a 2 years old girl.
