I like to think that I’m a very flexible and resourceful person. Even when things change at the last minute, I’m able to adjust accordingly and meet tight deadlines. At my last job, the schedule was constantly changing, so I needed to be highly adaptable. Despite the chaotic environment, I always finished tasks on time.
I am energetic, healthy and fit and enjoy caring for and nurturing children.
My recent experience was 2 years with Cheeky Little Monkeys Soft Play Centre where I supervised the safety of children whilst playing and also cared for children as young as 6 months in the crèche.
I was a day care provider when my children were young and regularly care for my grandchildren.
I enjoy working with children and I believe they keep you young.
Also happy to assist with domestic duties.
My name is Scarlett

Hi, my name is Meg. I am 32 years old and am blessed to call this corner of Australia home. I come third in a big family of six, which inadvertently provided me with an early start in childcare by helping mum with various duties. Being the only girl in the family I often assisted my mother with looking after the younger children. As well as this I also gained early experience baby sitting for a family friend’s children when I was 15 years old. I cared for both her 3 year old toddler and a 12-month old baby. My responsibilities included preparing meals, feeding the children, play time and putting them to bed. I have had the pleasure of looking after twin (4 years old) girls in Sydney while completing my university studies, then after graduating in 2014 I became a live-in nanny for the same family and stayed with them for a month before traveling. After my travels I relocated to Melbourne and met a lovely family with two boys, one two and the older four. I worked for this family for over two years and saw the boys through some wonderful milestones. Potty training, kinder, school, swimming lessons and soccer. I started early with drop offs and had a myriad of duties which included meal prep, running them to sports, lessons and walking down to the library for children's hour. It was a joy to see them develop and be there to support them in their early years.
I love working with children as I am a nurturing, fun and loving person who enjoys to play with and entertain children. My hours are flexible and I can easily fit in with your family schedule. I am also more than competent in basic meals and cleaning, so am prepared to do these tasks when necessary.
I am a self funded retiree, happily working Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am available for a one off (or two) on the other days if you need a break, have a function with no children welcome or have something you need to attend to.

Just to be upfront with you I am currently still in the process of obtaining my WWCC as it’s taking a bit longer than expected although I have a current police clearance check. I am also still just waiting on my 2nd covid vaccine which is in two weeks. I have had my 1st vaccine. I totally understand if you require doubled vaxxed only. However if you are happy I am able to produce a negative covid test beforehand for piece of mind.
I am a compassionate and kind Child and Youth Support Student who has almost 10 years experience in babysitting. Being the oldest daughter by 11 years, I also have personal experience with childcare, specifically for intellectually and physically disabled children.

I have a Social Science Degree (majoring in social welfare) & I also have a Diploma in Community Welfare Work, a current First Aid Certificate & a Blue Card. I have my own car, an open drivers license & of course I adore children & I am very competent with babies, including newborns & I'm happy to do a double up with friends or other family members, depending on how many children & their ages. I am a mum & my daughter has her own young children, so I am also a Nanna to my adorable grandchildren. I am available on the weekends to babysit, I just require prior notice & if possible, I do like to meet the children before I babysit. I feel that this makes everyone much more comfortable & gives you, the parent, peace of mind. Otherwise, I am happy to arrive at least 15mins early to allow some time to meet & play with the children before you leave. I've completed a Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care & I work as the Lead Educator in the Nursery 2 room (1-2 yrs), at a local day care centre on a permanent basis & I love it. Please Note: I charge $90 for the first 3hrs (min) then an hourly rate of $25. This rate ensures I cover my fuel, so thanks in advance for understanding this extra cost Deb.
