Hi! I’m Mia, A 35-y/o Australian with a love for organisation—my family calls me a clean freak, and I don't mind! I thrive in structured, well-run spaces and have experience keeping homes in order. I’ve done housekeeping for my sister’s family and played a similar role in personal life. I absolutely adore children, and have two nephews (8 and 3) who I love spending time with. Being Aunty Mia to my nephews, and my best friends Children, is one of my favourite things in life. I’ve also taught dance to children for years, from age 2 and upward, as well as alot of babysitting in my younger days. With extensive background in executive assistance, I bring strong attention to detail. I am a creative person with a background in professional dance and performing arts, a degree in fine art, and I have just launched my own ecommerce baby brand. I'm a very hands on person. I cook all of my own nutritious meals, live an active life, and thrive in a well-kept space. If you need help with household organisation or childcare, I’d love to chat! Warmest, Mia

Looking for: Casual Babysitting

Looking for any weekend/evening babysitting opportunities. I am enthusiastic, energetic and very keen to eventually pursue youth work at some point in my career. Having returned from working with children in Canada, I find it rewarding and meaningful and am looking for available childcare opportunities alongside my current full time position. I am 25 years old and gained considerable childcare experience from a gap year placement working overseas in England in a boarding house caring for 18 ten year old boys. I am the eldest of 10 cousins and have been looking after babies and young children since I was 12 as well as doing various babysitting jobs for local families over the years. Most recently, I returned from Canada where I was working in a role with X Movement. We worked across primary schools in the greater Toronto area facilitating in-school extra curricular programs with an emphasis on mental wellbeing through mindfulness, movement and mateship. I have completed a significant amount of community service working in a after school care in Beecroft and have qualifications from lifesaving Australia as well as my first aid certificate. I also coached a young netball team for 2 years in 2013/2014. I feel confident working with children of all ages and have a substantial amount of flexibility in the evenings as I am currently working from home.

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting,Au Pair

My name is Fabiola (Fabi). I am an Australian Citizen (I have lived in Sydney most of my life and intend to continue residing in Sydney). I have a current Working with Children Check and First Aid & CPR Certification. I am fully vaccinated against COVID 19 as well as against flu and whooping cough. I do not drive, but am very adept at travelling with babies and children on Public Transport. I have a University of Sydney Bachelor of Arts (Honours in Education) degree with a triple major: Psychology/Education/Mathematics (my favourite subject being Developmental Psychology). I have extensive experience as a nanny, babysitter and tutor: positions I have always thoroughly enjoyed. I believe that ensuring children's safety, and respecting them and listening to them is of utmost importance. I have loved and been fascinated by children ever since I can remember. Since I was 15, I have provided both paid and non-paid childcare: I have a natural aptitude for facilitating children's learning in a fun way. I love caring for babies; it is a privilege to be there when they are learning so much: the world we tend to take for granted is so brand new to them …. I delight in the "purity" of children and their behaviour. And when their behaviour is ah… beyond the pale, I take deep breaths and somehow tend to keep my cool! I am a good communicator, mature, trustworthy, honest, reliable, nurturing, compassionate, loving, patient, friendly, kind, humorous, easygoing, proactive, energetic, and creative. I care very much for nature and the environment, enjoy a healthy life style (e.g. I do not smoke) and am very affectionate with pets. I put my all into the babies, toddlers and children under my care. I positively impact their lives: being a good role model, seizing the opportunities that present themselves to further their development and education, having fun with them, and being there for them as they face life's challenges. I also provide solid support for the parents. So, if you need a nanny, babysitter, educator or tutor who a) absolutely loves interacting with babies (including newborns), toddlers and children, b) is passionate and knowledgeable about childhood development and teaching, and c) loves to feel like a part of the family, well, here I am!

I am a dedicated, caring individual with a true passion for childcare. As the older sister of two younger siblings, I have always had a strong sense of responsibility in taking care of and supporting others, which has taught me to be responsible, patient, and to develop a protective instinct. I worked as an au pair in New York for two years, an experience that provided me with solid training in childcare and the ability to adapt to different cultures and family dynamics. Additionally, I am an optician in Argentina, a profession that has strengthened my attention to detail, sense of responsibility, and problem-solving skills. I have experience preparing healthy and balanced meals, always adapting to the dietary needs of the children and the family’s preferences. I can also handle cleaning and organizing everything related to the children, ensuring their space is always safe and tidy. Furthermore, I am prepared to handle unexpected situations calmly, as I have basic first aid knowledge. I am able to drive, which allows me to assist with transportation and activities when needed. I can also provide references from my previous host family, who can speak about my commitment and dedication. My main goal is to create a safe, loving, and enriching environment where children can grow and explore their natural curiosity. I enjoy organizing creative and educational activities, such as games, crafts, and outdoor adventures, tailoring them to each child’s specific needs and interests to promote their overall development. I also strive to instill values such as empathy, respect, and responsibility, always using a positive and supportive approach. I make an effort to build trusting relationships with children by understanding their unique personalities and being attentive to their emotional and physical needs. My patience, empathy, and ability to handle challenging situations calmly allow me to navigate any obstacles that may arise. Additionally, I greatly value open and honest communication with parents, ensuring they are always informed about their children’s well-being and progress. I am happy to assist with family routines, such as bedtime, homework, and extracurricular activities, to ensure everything runs smoothly.
