Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

To All Families, I am a qualified teacher with over twelve years of experience working with children and young learners. For the past three years in Sydney, I have been teaching as an ELICOS teacher, supporting international students in developing their English language, literacy, and communication skills in engaging and inclusive ways. I hold a Graduate Diploma in TESOL and am currently completing a Master of Teaching (Early Childhood and Primary) at Western Sydney University. Through my studies and practical placement experience, I have developed a strong understanding of children’s learning, development, and wellbeing. I am a mature, responsible, and empathetic educator who enjoys creating warm, positive connections with children. My approach balances care, creativity, and structure, ensuring that children feel safe, valued, and inspired to explore. As a bilingual teacher (Spanish–English), I’m also happy to introduce your children to a second language through songs, games, and everyday conversation. I am currently based in Sydney and would love the opportunity to support a family as a nanny or educator, bringing both professional teaching experience and genuine care into your home. Availability: Monday to Friday until 2pm Warm regards, Angie

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I'm a fun-loving university student with flexible availability who adores children! This interest in children led to my primary education and psychology studies. My experience as a babysitter/nanny is extensive, and I’ve worked with children ranging from one to roughly sixteen. I also previously worked as a School Learning Support Officer, where I supported students one-on-one, including children with mental health and behavioural needs such as non-verbal autism, ADHD, and other learning differences. This role really strengthened my patience, communication skills, and ability to connect with kids who need calm, consistent support. I have references from prior families for whom I have worked. My devotion to child safety awareness allows me to care for children as effectively and responsibly as possible. I have up-to-date CPR and first aid certifications, anaphylaxis training, and hold a WWCC, police check, and NDIS check. I am also on my full licence, which makes transport and travel easy and reliable. I am alert to risks, and can establish a safe atmosphere for children. Their safety is my top priority. One of my best abilities is always being engaged and providing activities to keep kids entertained. I'm a child at heart, so this isn't much of a challenge for me. I have prior expertise in planning educational activities, games, crafts, or outings that are both enjoyable and developmentally stimulating. I also try to keep children away from electronics as much as possible. In terms of home assistance, I’m more than willing and confident to help with any extra responsibilities such as light housekeeping or homework support. Additionally, I have extensive nannying experience from roles prior to joining 'Find a Babysitter,' and I have been caring for families through the platform since 2022.

I also have two young children of my own, aged 6 and 10, so I truly understand the needs and dynamics of family life. In addition to my medical background, I’ve spent many years working as a nanny and babysitter, which has allowed me to develop a deep comfort and familiarity with children of all ages, from infants to school-age kids. I am particularly experienced with babies and am very confident in handling their unique needs, including feeding, sleep routines, and general care. I offer evening and weekend babysitting services, providing flexible and reliable care for families who need a trusted, professional caregiver. Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Dear family, My name is Olivia and I’m 28 years old. I have 8 years plus experience in childcare starting off babysitting 4 boys from Saudi Arabia (age ranging 1-9 years old) when I was just 16. They sadly moved back to Saudi in January 2020. I then did my childcare in college and did an apprenticeship to get my level 3 childcare alongside a nursery. I then got taken on at the nursery as cover staff making my way up to room leader, I have experience in all ages and now currently working in the baby room. I would like to widen my experience of nannying/babysitting and take it to a higher level of travelling abroad. I am a Christian and my faith is very important to me so I would love it if I have time to find a church and practice my religion in my own time. I am happy to do any duties the family provide me and I will always be willing to work with them to provide the best possible care for the children teamwork is important to me and I learn best by constructive criticism. I love to take children out on trips to the park, museum, aquarium, beach etc. I am a fun and enthusiastic girl who always likes to be on the go and having fun! I do believe in downtime and that children should have time to chill out and re-energise so a nice chilled out area to read books or sing nursery rhymes would be great. I feel I am firm but fair and I would talk to the child/ren about how they’re feeling to see how we can sort the situation out rather than getting cross with the child. I am first aid trained and have a full clear police check. I am really passionate about children and helping them learn through play I feel it is important to let the children help with jobs around the house or running errands because it makes them involved and feel like they’re important. I live in maroubra

Hi families, I am a dedicated and mature individual with extensive experience working with children of all ages, seeking casual babysitting roles and am open to connecting with a new family that can provide a future permanent role for me. My interest in early childcare began during my employment as an aerial coach, supporting children aged 4 to 17 years old. After graduating High School at NHSPA, I studied my Certificate III in early education and care at Goodstart Early Learning as a full-time educator. Beyond my traineeship, I have branched out into private nannying and babysitting. Currently, I support one primary family, consisting of two beautiful boys aged 6mths and 3.5yrs and the occasional casual babysitting gig for a few different families. My true passion is to support children through routine, guiding independence and control over autonomy, communicative and consequential reaction, and play-based education which are vital to fostering emotionally regulated, kind, and confident young brains. I am fully qualified in First Aid, CPR and SIDS training, and have experience working with disabilities/special needs, strong household management and personal assistance skills, P1 Australian Drivers Licence and personal vehicle.
