Looking for: Casual Babysitting

Hello! My name is Billie and I'm a patient, fun and reliable 27-year-old who finds genuine joy in nurturing and caring for children. I’m currently in my third year of medical school at Monash University and hope to become a Paediatrician in the future. I have extensive experience working with children, having previously worked as a full-time nanny for several years as well as a swimming teacher. Across my three years of nannying, I’ve cared for children aged 8 months to 11 years, and I’m currently available for casual babysitting. I find working with children incredibly rewarding, and it’s especially meaningful to me to support their growth through play, reading, crafts, and singing/dancing. I feel most comfortable caring for children aged 6 months and older, and I’m always happy to help with housework, homework and extracurricular activities. I hold a current CPR certificate and police check, driver's license and car, and am happy to provide references from families I’ve previously worked with. I appreciate how important it is for families to have a dependable carer, so I always ensure I am reliable and consistent in the support I provide. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I’m happy to answer any questions you may have and hope to hear from you soon!

I’ve spent seven years caring for the same family in Canada, starting with one child and later looking after three as their family grew. Being part of their everyday life taught me the importance of patience, trust, and showing up consistently. I’m calm, caring, and attentive, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with children—whether that’s playing, helping with routines, or just being a steady presence. I aim to create a safe, relaxed environment where kids feel comfortable and supported. I take pride in building real connections with both children and parents.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Thank you for your interest and consideration on me. My name is Miluska, I have qualified and formal education and experience in Special and Disability Education (also Community Welfare and Aged Care). I am a teacher (Bachelor Degree) for children with special needs (in Perú we named it: "Special Education Teacher"); also Nanny/AuPair with several and wide capacitation, trainning and experience (covers CPR, pool lifesaver, basic physical rehabilitation, first aid, pets care; activities as handicraft, bakery and others). I would like to work with babies, pre-kinder children and toddlers but on my among previous tasks and experience I have had the opportunity to take care children up to 12 years old. Everyone is unique and important besides,my background makes it possible and that makes me feel happy, confident and sure about my vocation and love for teaching and sharing with children every day. Prior to my arrival to Australia in 2007, I’ve been working as a Teacher of Special Education in Lima (Peru), focusing in early stimulation, behavior development and rehabilitation; as well performing as volunteer with several institutions like Association of Special Olympiads of Peru (for 9 years). I believe that my teaching experience (as a specialist helping and educating children and young people suffering from Autism and Down syndrome) has provided me with invaluable insight into interpreting the learning and emotional needs of individuals in general and specially babies and toddlers. I received my Diploma IV of Community Welfare in Community Services in April 2010 and Certificate III of Aged Care in December 2010 and as part of my studies in Australia, I completed a number of placements at aged care facilities, including Sacred Heart Mission and Hambleton House. As well, I’ve been performing job positions working with babies and toddlers for long periods of time. I would like to meet you and show you my patience, kindness, strength, dedication and energy that I could share with your children and with all of you. I feel that the basis for a teacher/ nanny and/or aupair is always a professional point of view. I am peruvian and actually living in Victoria (but my grandparents were from Czechoslovakia and Germany, so educated in both ways: with responsibility and affection). I would like to have the opportunity to meet you and demonstrate you the type of person that I am. Among many other things I can teach your children spanish, handicraft, pastrymaking, etc. Please, allow me to introduce myself to you and try to know me. Kind regards. Miluska Dusek

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi there! I am very excited about meeting and getting to know you. ABOUT ME: I have been providing childcare over the past 22 years, and I have looked after more than 50 children in this time. The last 9 of those years, I have been a Nanny. I have worked with many different families: with 1-4 children; twins with a younger sibling, all girls, all boys, brothers & sisters; with an age range of 9mths - 12 years old. As all children & families are different I like to stay adaptable, to meet the needs of the unique situation. Some children are runners, some are quite contemplators, others always need to be crafting and creating big cardboard constructions, while another is quite happy to sit while colouring in and drawing for hours on end. However they all ask questions non stop, lols. And I love that because of their curiosity I learn as well; from having to google the answers to the questions I don’t know, e.g. I now know the oldest living animal is the Greenland shark, and it is guessed to have a lifespan of 250-500 yrs. With the current oldest one guessed to be 300 years old! But I only learned this because one child I looked after LOVED the ocean and all its wonders. :) I find I lean towards the Montessori Method of teaching children. I follow the theme of their current interest for play, games and conversations, and I like to incorporate their current obsession, be it space or dinosaurs into our word & math games and everything else we do together. MORNING ROUTINE; breakfast, lunch boxes, school bag packing, day-care/kinder/school drop offs -For the little ones when at home and not at daycare/kindy. I like to have our week planned. Be it excursions to the zoo, park, an indoor play center, library time or classes that helps their development: that the parents have enrolled them into, or I have found that the Mum’s & Dad’s like; e.g. Gymbaroo, Ready steady go, All Sports etc., to activities we can do at the house like baking or painting or even a playdate with their friend/s. HOUSE MANAGEMENT; groceries, maintenance of pantry & basic medicine (ie expiry dates & organisation), light laundry duties, light house keeping, tiding up after myself & the little ones, keeping the kitchen clean & hygienic, school holiday & pupil free day planning, meal planning, food & meal prep (dietary requirements taken into consideration) multi-tasking and other Ad-Hoc tasks. AFTERNOON ROUTINE; networking with other parents & carers at the children’s school- that the children are friends with or do extra curriculum’s with, extracurricular coordination (this is where the networking can sometimes help with car pooling & swapping weeks), planning of play dates, supervise-assistance with homework and practice for their extra curriculum’s. With additional extras from me if wanted/needed or time permits (eg. Music theory, maths etc.) ***I have help children further develop their music skills with my attention and knowledge than what they receive in a 30min class a week. And I have helped with development of their Math & literacy skills. HOWEVER my proudest achievement was somehow managing to help my French charge (when an AuPair in Paris) go from an almost F (from her former AuPair) in her French Class to an A. While I was only at a very basic beginner level with my own French skills. EVENING ROUTINE; Shower/bath time, dinner, oral hygiene, an evening game (if time permits) and attend their unique bedtime routine. HISTORY SUMMARY: •2002-2003 I started child caring when I was 14: for my piano teacher’s son. I cared for him 3 days a week, (after school) from the age of 2-8, while his mother worked from home: I had to master the skill of noise level control, while I was young & noisy myself. •2003-2005 Once I was 16 I began to babysit for other families during the evenings & weekends. •2006-2009 Durning my tertiary studies I babysat casually between my part-time job and classes. •2010-2015 I babysat and assisted as a mother's helper, whilst working 4 part-time jobs. •2016-2017 I was an AuPair in Paris. And fell in LOVE with France. •2017-2017 Back in Melb; I did causal & part-time child-care, for families with babies, toddlers & preschoolers. Until I found a family that needed a Full-time Nanny. NOTE: for the below the ages are how old the children were when I left. •July 2017-July 2020: F/T Nanny—4 Days a week: Full Days, for a family of 5; 3 girls aged: 7, 10 & 12. • Feb 2021-Aug 2021: Temp P/T Nanny—5 Days a week: Split days, for a family of 4; 1 boy aged 9 & girl aged 7. •Sept 2021-Dec 2024: F/T Nanny—5 Days a week: 2 Full & 3 Half days, for a family of 4: 2 boys aged 5 & 9. •Feb 2025-Apr 2025: P/T Nanny--3 Days a week: 3 Full days for a blended family of 6: 2 girls aged 12 and 2 boys aged 10 & 14 ESSENTIALS: - Valid Victorian Drivers Licence - WWCC: exp. 26/10/2028 - Police Check: exp. 20.09.25 - Level 2: First Aid (inclusive: Asthma, CPR exp. June 2025, & Epi-pen) exp. June 2027 - CV: with copies of my credentials - References If you have read this far, I look forward to receiving a message from you. ☺️

I have a Diploma of Children’s Services. I have over five years of experience working with children, mostly in the kinder age group. During this time, l've developed lesson plans, managed daily routines, and ensured to provide a safe and fun learning environment. For the past years l've been off work raising my child. However even though I haven't been working for this period, I am confident I can provide a professional care for the early childhood as I am really enjoying being with children. Also I am very good in drawing, and doing art and craft which makes me suitable for this role. I can effectively plan and set up different types of art activities (for example painting, collage) which helps children to develop their imagination and fine motor skills. My CPR and First Aid certifications also ensure I can handle any emergencies.
