Hello! I am a Canadian who has just arrived in Melbourne and would love to apply my skills here as a nanny. In Canada I worked as an environmental educator for students in kindergarten to grade 12. I babysat a lot as a teenager but in recent years I have had the joy of caring for my niece, aged 16 months, and nannying for a family with children aged 2, 4 and 6. I am super passionate about caring for the planet and our next generation! I follow a pedagogy of inclusivity and curiosity when working with kids and adults alike. I love to bike around and swim at any opportunity! I have my current WWCC and a drivers license.
Hello wonderful families,
My name is Indi, I am from Ballarat and moved to Melbourne at the beginning of last year to study a Bachelor of Science at The University of Melbourne. Last year I had the joy of caring for a beautiful family of three kids aged 5, 7 and 9 which involved school pickups and school holidays as well as engaging in different activites both indoors and outdoors and maintaining a regular routine for the family. I have also had regular work nannying an 8 month old and a 2 year old which helped me to become very creative in crafting new and entertaining activities. I am comfortable with completing jobs around the house and feel confident looking after kids of all ages. I am the second eldest of four so am used to a bit of chaos and busy environments. When nannying I enjoy getting outside to parks and playgrounds and coming up with new and enjoyable activites and games to play. Building strong connections with both children and parents is important to me, as I believe in fostering trust and open communication within the family dynamic. I look forward to getting to know new families and creating lasting bonds and memories.
I'm Eliza, delighted to meet you. With experience as a teacher's aide, I've found my true passion in working with kids. Creativity is my forte, and I thrive on diving into various projects. Whether it's crafting, painting, or teaching skills like sewing, I'm more than eager to share my creative spark.
Beyond that, I have an endless curiosity for exploring new places and cultures. Currently, I'm pursuing my dreams of fashion design at RMIT, which allows me a flexible schedule to accommodate your family's needs seamlessly.
I'm genuinely enthusiastic about tailoring my time to fit seamlessly into your family's routine. Your needs are my priority, and I'm here to ensure a harmonious balance between care for your little ones and support for your family dynamics. 😊
Hey, my name is Grace. I come from a big family with younger siblings and many younger cousins who have shaped my love for childcare. I have worked as a babysitter for the past 4 years and in the past two years I have worked for children under the NDIS as a support worker. I am eager to work with children of all ages and all abilities! Please don't hesitate to contact me for more information :)
I am a 33 year old experienced childcare worker with a background in Social Work and a Masters in Public Health.
I formerly worked as an integration aid with primary school-aged children and have nannied long-term for families with children as young as 6weeks old. I enjoy and am comfortable working with children of all ages.
Most recently, I worked full-time in the women’s health sector and am taking some extended leave to recuperate!
Working with young people is my passion and I am excited to engage in early childhood development once again.
WWCC, Police Checks and Parent & Education Provider references available on request.
(My Level 2 first aid recently expired and am happy to renew prior to commencing in any role).
My name is Eloise and I am a student moving from the ACT to Melbourne.
I am an experienced babysitter/nanny looking for regular work 1-3 days a week. I am an elder sister who has devoted much of my out-of school ours to child care, with a sister ten years my junior whom I help raise. I am confident with kids of all ages, and have no problem bottle feeding, nappy changing, cleaning up after little ones etc.
I love art and reading, so will definitely share and get your kids involved in creative activities (if they're willing of course)!
I love animals, and am super comfortable around pets and larger families. I can comfortably put kids to bed and I have had experience with a couple tricky sleepers, so have a few tactics (special stories mainly) that I've found pretty handy in the past!
I'm also a tutor, so can aid elder children and young teens with homework and study preparations etc. I also love to work and with infants and toddlers and have no problem getting creative and hands-on.
I can cook and clean, and have a range of vegetarian recipes up my sleeve (and I can make a mean home-made secret-recipe pizza that is a fan favourite with the kids).
I will be travelling mostly by public transport, so am more suited to home-based work that does not require me to use a car often for drop offs/pick ups etc.
I do not currently have a Victorian WWCC - coming from interstate - however would be very happy to obtain one asap! I am also planning to undergo a first aid training course, however I do already have light general knowledge of child first aid (infant heimlich, burns etc; my parents are both medical doctors so raised us in a first-aid conscious household).
Most of all I hope to find a fun-loving family whose daily routines I can settle in with.
I look forward to hearing from you, and please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any further questions!
