Every day is different and that's what I love about working with children, as well as seeing and helping them grow. A little about me, I am 30 years old and available for weekend babysitting or Mon/Wed evenings 6-8pm whilst I study my Bachelor of Education P - 12. I currently mentor teenaged children from white lion youth as well. I work full time and looking for some extra house savings! I love netball and animals especially cats! In my time at Bunnings I was also involved in running specific events such as Mothers Day, Fathers Day, Christmas events where the event was primarily based on children having fun with their parents. On the weekends I also ran children's arts and crafts within the Bunning's store while parents shopped around. I am flexible and would be happy to work around you and your family. I am looking for something long term. I am hoping to sort of be like a big sister/friend to your children. Experience: 2023 : Night nannying weekly basis for a 14 month old baby, main duties, night feed, get ready for crèche, feed breakfast and drop at crèche 8am. 2022 - After school care for a 2,8,10 year old. After school activity drops off and pick ups, bath, dinner, homework and bed routine. General washing maintenance for the kids, food shopping. 2020 -2021 - Full time 12 year old boy, 9 year old girl. Duties included - School drop offs, pick ups, meal prep for whole family. Help with homework, fun days out. 2015, Casual babysitting mostly once a week taking car of two boys, 1 and 3 years of age. All daycare, duties include meal prep, naps, playtime and general care throughout the day. Casual evening babysitting caring for two girls aged 2 and 6 duties throughout the night which include, bedtime stories, snacks and completing homework. 2014, working two days a week caring for three children ages 4,5 and 6. My duties were to entertain, make lunch, general house cleaning duties such as mopping/sweeping. We often played outside, practised writing letters and numbers as well as playing with toys and watching DVDs. In December 2013 I returned to Australia after 5 months of living abroad in The Netherlands caring for a beautiful 8-month-old baby girl. Qualifications: Certificate 3 in Children Services which covers all areas such as: -Ensuring the health and safety of children -Providing care for babies and children -Applying First Aid -Work within a relevant legal and ethical framework -Provide experiences to support children's play and learning -Contribute to a team -Support behaviour of children and young people -Identify and respond to young people at risk -Contribute to the provision of nutritionally balanced food in a safe and hygienic manner -Support the development of children -Interact effectively with children -Participate effectively in the work environment -Develop an understanding of children's interests and developmental needs -Work effectively with families to care for the child -Follow basic food safety practices -Work effectively with culturally diverse clients and co-workers -Contribute to WHS processes Other Experience: Part-time baby sitter to 4,5 & 6-year-old in Caroline Springs. In Cologne, I work as the Deputy Team Lead of a group home for adolescents with learning disabilities. I have a full degree as an educator and have worked with children aged 0-7 in various kindergartens and with youths aged 13 to 27 in two different group homes. Furthermore, I have some experience working in a group home for mothers and their children who needed a safe place to live due to abusive homes. Since I really want to see a lot of Melbourne and my boyfriend is only free on the weekends, I offer nanny services for 3 days a week, but not on the weekends.
