Hi there,
My name is Mireaux, but everyone calls me Moo. I am a recent graduate of The University of Melbourne, and I could be your next manny (male nanny).
My experience in childcare is not only extensive but also diverse. From caring for child actors professionally as an AD on film sets, to casual babysitting work I did throughout university, as well as plenty of experience caring for the many young children in my own family, including newborns.
I speak multiple languages; possess many valuable domestic and childcare-centric skills including cooking, cleaning, sewing, music, and art; and have qualifications in food safety, and first aid (I am in the process of renewing my WWCC but have been delayed due to financial constraints). I am hardworking, punctual, reliable, and incredibly personable. My priority is always the safety and wellbeing of children under my care and I strive to create safe, positive environments for children to learn and thrive.
While I understand that childcare is often viewed as a predominantly feminine vocation, and many parents or care-givers would be hesitant to the idea of a "male nanny", I believe that anyone, regardless of gender, is capable of caring for a child as long as they are knowledgeable, competent, and passionate - which I am. I believe in dismantling the idea that childcare is "a woman's job" and think that a manny could be a great option for families of boys, LGBTQIA+ families, or anyone looking for a more progressive alternative to the "traditional" nanny.
