I have just completed my first year of a Bachelor of Education, during which I undertook a three-week professional placement in a Year 1 classroom. This experience allowed me to support students in their learning, classroom routines, and overall wellbeing. In addition, I have worked in educational support roles with children aged 5–12, where I assisted students with both learning and physical disabilities. This has strengthened my ability to provide patient, inclusive, and individualised support to meet each child’s needs. Outside of formal education settings, I have been a netball coach for the past eight years, working with children aged 4–16. This role has helped me develop strong skills in communication, behaviour management, and creating a positive and encouraging environment. I have also done casual babysitting for friends and family, caring for younger children and supporting daily routines.
