Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello! I graduated from Methodist Ladies College in 2021 and am currently in my fourth year at Monash University, studying Business and Media Communications. When I’m not studying, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, playing basketball and AFL, cheerleading, listening to music, and diving into a good book. I have a lot of hands-on experience with younger children. Growing up with three younger brothers-who are 9 and 12 years younger than me naturally gave me the role of a ”second mom” and taught me a lot about caregiving, patience, and creativity. Over the past five years, I’ve provided casual and part-time babysitting for a range of families, which included school pick-ups, cooking, light housework, and homework help. This year, I’ve been regularly caring for two families with children aged between 3 and 11, Monday through Friday. I’ve just returned from a semester abroad and am currently looking to start any time after January 6th. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi there! My name is Daina, I'm 26, and I'm currently completing my Master’s in Secondary Education, majoring in Visual Arts. I love all things creative, and it’s incredibly fulfilling to be studying my passion whilst preparing for a career where I can share the beauty and joy of artistic expression with young people! I currently work in Learning Support at a girls’ school in Northcote, where I’ve spent the past two years supporting a diverse range of learners, including students with additional needs. This role has given me a deep understanding of children’s unique learning styles, personalities and ways of engaging with the world! Alongside my school experience, I’ve also worked with TeamKids for holiday and afterschool care, looking after children of all ages and keeping them entertained throughout the day (my go-to activities are always dance parties or arts and crafts!- essentials). These experiences have helped me develop a warm, playful and patient approach to childcare. I have also done kids' face-painting for a few years at local day festivals, so I have that in my back pocket as a crowd pleaser whenever it's needed! My most treasured experience is time spent caring for my two beautiful nieces, whom I absolutely adore and love being their Zia! I’ve been babysitting them since they were special little bubbas! This is where I have had the most of my nannying experience; bathing, nappy changes and feeding time! I look forward to supporting you and your special ones too!

Hi families! I am a Japanese Brazilian preparing to do a Master's in Linguistics, currently working as a nanny and language tutor. I have experience in providing care for children of 3 months to 12 years old age range.  In North Melbourne, I assisted a lovely family with 3 children (ages from 1 to 8) for 2 years, 4 days per week and occasional weekends, and babysat for the family's friends over the weekends too, so I can provide great references. My duties included preparing breakfast, morning and afternoon snacks, lunch and dinner, dressing, changing nappies, bathing, taking them to the park or library, reading books, preparing craft activities, supervising them during playtime, organising toys, unloading/loading the dishwasher, and an occasional childcare/school pick up or drop off by foot. In South Yarra, I assisted a couple of doctors with a 3-month-old baby, 4 days per week and occasional weekends, for 1 year. My duties included preparing and cleaning bottles, feeding and preparing solid food, dressing, changing nappies, taking him to the park, reading books, organising toys, unloading/loading the dishwasher, and occasionally preparing meals for the parents. I have been working as a language tutor for more than 14 years, teaching mainly Japanese, but also Portuguese and English to people from different countries. Being an enthusiast of languages, I have also studied French to manage a trip to France and Italian to live in Rome for almost a year. I studied Arts at university as well, so I enjoy some crafting too.  As a South American, I value family and communication, so I consider that home should be a place where we feel loved, safe, and supported. As a Japanese descendant, I believe in the sense of community and being socially responsible to the people around us and the environment. I take great pleasure in explaining things to kids and have a patient personality. Looking forward to meeting you :)
