Hey, my name is Natalie, but I go by Nat.
I’m 20 years old and grew up in East Gippsland. Over the past two years, I’ve moved to Melbourne to study at university. I’m currently in my second year of a Bachelor of Nursing, which I absolutely love, and long term I hope to continue studying to become a registered nurse, midwife, and eventually a child and maternal health nurse.
I have several years of experience caring for children of different ages. I previously volunteered for three years as a Joey Scouts leader, working closely with children aged 4–8, and I’ve also babysat for families with multiple children and do regular after-school pickups. I’m confident, patient, and especially good at connecting with quieter or more introverted kids, helping to bring them out of their shell.
Alongside my studies, I work as a lifeguard at local council pools and currently do school pickups for two amazing kids on Monday and Tuesday afternoons. I hold a current Working With Children Check, CPR and First Aid certification, and I have my own car and a clean driving record. I am confident in preparing school lunches/ meals and sticking to routines.
I’m calm, caring, and safety-focused, and I always aim to create a fun, supportive, and secure environment for the children I look after.
