Meet Isabel: A nanny and babysitter in Blackburn South, VIC

Hello! My name is Isabel, I am 31 years old and live in Melbourne’s south-east suburbs. I have a Bachelor of Education (Primary) degree and am a fully qualified primary school teacher who has been teaching since 2018. I am looking for work over the summer school holidays, from mid-December to early February, while taking a break from casual relief teaching.

I have plenty of experience caring for children, including looking after my younger sister and brother growing up, casually babysitting for families while completing my degree and working in after-school care settings. I come from a family of teachers and genuinely enjoy working with children of all ages. My teaching background also means I can help with reading, writing, mathematics, homework and fun educational activities during the holidays.

I hold current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration and my police check requirements were up to date as of September 2026. I also hold a current First Aid certificate and my anaphylaxis and asthma training is up to date.

I am flexible with my availability, have my own car and a driver’s licence and am very comfortable around pets, as I have two dogs of my own. I am reliable, caring and responsible and would love to help a family over the summer holidays with babysitting, nannying or general childcare.
