Looking for: Full-time,Part-time

Hi families! I am a Japanese Brazilian preparing to do a Master's in Linguistics, currently working as a nanny and language tutor. I have experience in providing care for children of 3 months to 12 years old age range.  In North Melbourne, I assisted a lovely family with 3 children (ages from 1 to 8) for 2 years, 4 days per week and occasional weekends, and babysat for the family's friends over the weekends too, so I can provide great references. My duties included preparing breakfast, morning and afternoon snacks, lunch and dinner, dressing, changing nappies, bathing, taking them to the park or library, reading books, preparing craft activities, supervising them during playtime, organising toys, unloading/loading the dishwasher, and an occasional childcare/school pick up or drop off by foot. In South Yarra, I assisted a couple of doctors with a 3-month-old baby, 4 days per week and occasional weekends, for 1 year. My duties included preparing and cleaning bottles, feeding and preparing solid food, dressing, changing nappies, taking him to the park, reading books, organising toys, unloading/loading the dishwasher, and occasionally preparing meals for the parents. I have been working as a language tutor for more than 14 years, teaching mainly Japanese, but also Portuguese and English to people from different countries. Being an enthusiast of languages, I have also studied French to manage a trip to France and Italian to live in Rome for almost a year. I studied Arts at university as well, so I enjoy some crafting too.  As a South American, I value family and communication, so I consider that home should be a place where we feel loved, safe, and supported. As a Japanese descendant, I believe in the sense of community and being socially responsible to the people around us and the environment. I take great pleasure in explaining things to kids and have a patient personality. Looking forward to meeting you :)

Hi, I’m Jasmine! I am currently a Before and After School Care Educator with Team Kids and have experience caring for children of all ages—from babies and toddlers to school-aged kids and teens. I have graduated with my Diploma of Community Services, during which I completed placement at a youth drop-in centre supporting children and young people aged 5–17. This experience deepened my passion for helping kids feel safe, supported, and encouraged in their growth. I love being creative, learning about children’s interests, and engaging them in activities that make learning and play fun. Whether it’s arts and crafts, reading, games, or outdoor play, I enjoy spending time getting to know each child and making sure they feel comfortable and happy. I hold a Working With Children Check, Childcare First Aid and a driver’s licence, making me reliable and flexible for different family needs. Supporting and caring for children has always been my dream, and I would love the opportunity to babysit and provide families with peace of mind, knowing their kids are in safe and caring hands.

Looking for: Full-time

Hello, I’m Chloe. I have moved to Melbourne from the UK this month to live with my best friend, and I'm really excited to find a lovely family to work with while I'm there. I have a degree in Early Years and Psychology (completed in 2019) and have been working with children ever since. I have just resigned from being a Deputy Manager at a Kindergarten for children aged 6 months to 4 years. I’ve also worked in both private and state schools, and have experience with the Curiosity Approach, which encourages children to explore and learn in a natural, child-led way. I’m passionate about creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for little ones to grow and thrive. I’m also super organised, reliable, and calm under pressure. In addition to my full-time role, I also babysit for a few close families and have built long-lasting, trusting relationships with them. I’d love to do the same with a new family in Melbourne! I am generally flexible and the moment and looking to start something in the next few weeks/new year and am able to work different hours as and when needed. Roughly looking for about 35 hours a week or more. My going rate is currently $40/45 per hour. Please feel free to reach out as I am open to having a chat if this feels like something you would be interested in ☺️

Cheerful, affectionate and relaxed early childhood educator/nanny/sitter with 15+ years of experience. I have a special interest in infant and toddler development, as well as experience caring for kids from birth to 18 years (including premmies). Sleep, settling, nappies, bottles, baths, sibling disputes, homework assistance, simple meals, disability, autism, playtime, illness, learning English... I've seen it all! I have been the "first ever carer" for many, many children (and their families!) over the years. I currently work in long day care, in a beautiful community co-op setting. Strong relationships are at the heart of my practice, as is giving children access to their community. I love to read, I LOVE to sing, I'm learning to garden and I'm enjoying getting back out into my local areas more often. I speak Italian (shyly!) and am expanding my knowledge of Auslan (completed Level 2) and Key Word Signing. CURRENTLY AVAILABLE FOR: 1 day of care (Tue or Wed) for an infant under 12 months. Possibility to negotiate two half-days. Please note this is a nannying role only, not a housekeeping role.

Hi! I’m Elle. I’m 32, originally from Sydney but have been living in Melbourne for around 8 years now. I hold a current First Aid Certificate, a Working With Children Check (WWWC), and I have my own car. I've recently been working as an Educator for a First Aid Training company so I'm super mindful of potential dangers and confident in dealing with asthma, anaphylaxis, choking, burns, cuts, and other emergencies so your kids will always be in good hands. I’ve always loved children and have had plenty of babysitting experience with my young cousins, nieces and nephews over the years, as well as ongoing nannying experience. I've also had the pleasure of working as an Au Pair for a lovely family in London, where I cared for two little ones (ages 1 and 2 and a half). I'm looking for regular work throughout the week and am happy to do additional babysitting if/when required. Please feel free to reach out - I’d love to chat more and see if I’m the right fit for your family!

I am a 21-year-old uni student with over six years of babysitting experience, caring for children from toddlers through to early teens. I am someone who loves creating a calm, fun and safe environment, and I naturally connect with kids of all personalities. Growing up in a busy family has made me adaptable, patient and confident stepping into new routines! I don’t have a car, but I’m very comfortable using public transport and love taking kids on little adventures — trips to the zoo, afternoons at the park, library visits, exploring museums, or simply getting out for a walk and some fresh air. I am responsible, warm, and genuinely passionate about working with kids, and I always aim to make their day feel enjoyable, supported and safe.

I am a 28 year old employed in the government psychology/legal space. ☺️ I was a nanny for many years in Brisbane and a support worker for the Cerebral Palsy League for three years throughout university where I cared for adults with disabilities. I relocated to Melbourne in June of 2021. I had been nannying for a beautiful family in port Melbourne who have a two year old and seven year old for the last two years and can provide references as I still babysit for them casually. I previously nannied for another lovely family in port Melbourne also prior to their five year old daughter starting school. Some of my interests include reading, cooking and exercising with my dog (he’s an 11 year old Labrador named bear). I am happy to help out with household duties, cleaning and meal preparation in addition to caring for your little ones. I have an open Victorian license and reliable car. Additionally I have a working with children check and police check (for my regular occupation). I adore being a nanny and the joy that comes with the role of working with children. I look forward to potentially working with your family!
