Looking for: Part-time

Qualified Sleep Consultant, night nanny and 24hr live in baby nanny (Maternity Practitioner). Hi families, I’m Jennifer. I’ve been working with babies, children, and their families for over 24 years, and I still feel just as passionate about it today as I did when I started. Early in my career, I worked as a live-in nanny for families all over the world - sometimes caring for up to five children in one household, from newborns through to teenagers (managing the whole household + all of the children's activities and needs). It was during this time that I discovered my love for working with newborns, then went on to study more about newborn care and sleep consulting. In 2006, I became a fully accredited Maternity Practitioner through the Maternity Nurse Training College at Reading University in the UK. Since then, I’ve specialised in postnatal care, night nannying, and sleep training for babies aged 0 - 5 years. I’ve had the privilege of living in with thousands of families across more than 60 countries, often supporting them 24/7 during those precious early months. I’ve guided parents through everything from feeding and settling to establishing healthy routines - and in the process, I’ve developed a gentle, hands-on approach that helps even very young babies learn to sleep soundly (often up to 10 hours a night with feeds). This depth of experience has also allowed me to create my own style of sleep training for older babies. My methods are baby-led and flexible - I don’t follow rigid wake windows or strict routines. Instead, I work closely with each family to create a plan that suits their baby’s needs and their parenting style. My programs have supported thousands of families both online and in person, and I currently consult with up to 10 families per week while also continuing to work as a nanny and in-home sleep consultant. Throughout my career, I’ve cared for hundreds of single babies, more than 50 sets of twins, and two sets of triplets. I’ve clocked well over 70,000 hours living in with families, and every experience has taught me something new. Outside of work, I live a healthy, balanced lifestyle - I love travelling, going to the gym, and cooking. I bring that same calm, grounded energy into the homes I work in, helping parents feel supported, confident, and well-rested. Education and Formal Training: • Maternity and Child Certification - International Maternity Institute of America • MNT OCN Maternity Practitioners’ Award – Reading University, London • Doula and Birthing Education – The Australian Doula College Sydney. • Understanding settling techniques and sleep in babies and toddlers – Southern Cross University, Gold Coast • Children’s Sleep Training – MNT Reading University, London • Post Natal Depression Training – MNT Reading University, London • Breastfeeding Workshop – MNT Reading University, London • Baby care for nannies – MNT Reading University, London • Emergency Pediatric First Aid Course – MNT Reading University, London • Pediatric First Aid Training – Australia • Sleep Guidance Program – Night Nannies • Dunstan Baby Language Course – Night Nannies Skills: • Educate and assist parents with their birthing plans • Assist with breastfeeding and postpartum newborn care • Implement age-appropriate feeding and sleeping routines • Monitor the emotional status of mother once discharged from hospital • Educate parents regarding their options in sleep shaping for older babies and implementation of a sleeping program • Educate the father and older siblings in aspects of newborn care to support the mother • Convey numerous methods for postpartum care relating to feeding, hygiene, clothing, newborn’s environment.

Hi! My name is Henriett. I am a teacher of German & Hungarian languages for 28 years and a tourist guide from Hungary. I arrived in Australia in 2020. I worked as German-Hungarian language teacher in a school in Hungary for 24 years. I teach here languages too, but mainly online so I like working as nanny too. In my freetime I like doing sport ( long walking with my husband, riding bike & horse), going to the theatre, learning languages and spending time with my nephwes and friends. I like outside activities by sunshine and snow too. I love Australia, just the birds are not my friends. Working as a nanny is very similar to my profession: caring, educating, teaching, playing, being creative, having fun. I think working with children can give you a lot of positive energy, as it is a fun, active and creative time.

Heyy my names Tom Lancaster! I’m from the UK, on a working holiday Visa and planning to stay indefinitely. Im a 23 year old male, who loves working with kids it’s my passion. I’ve been an activity instructor/group leader for just under 2 years now in the UK and Australia. Looking after up to 24 kids by myself and have enjoyed it so much! I love the way they look up to you and you literally see them gain so much confidence during the time I’m with them it’s amazing. I’m a very fun, enthusiastic, caring guy with a passion for embracing my inner child whilst looking after kids :). I find gaining there respect very easy as I treat them as a friend rather than a child, this makes it a lot easier when explaining rules they need to follow during activities and how they should behave. I’m looking to gain new skills as I’m looking at the possibility of teaching in the future and would love the opportunity to work with your family. :)) I have had three babysitting job so far so I can provide references. 1. A Jewish family with two kids ages boy aged 7 and girl aged 5 who had a background with domestic violence due to the mother abusing them and making them regress, for example making them wear diapers still. 2. A family with a 10 year old boy who has ADHD/Autism/PDA. This includes dealing with a lot of physical tantrums and panic attacks. 3. A Indian family with a 5 year old boy and 5 month year old baby.

Hi, I’m Soha — a caring, compassionate, and empathetic caregiver currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Psychology at Macquarie University, with a strong focus on child development. With over 7 years of hands-on experience caring for children aged 0 to 15, I bring both practical knowledge and academic insight to the families I support. Whether it’s helping with homework, building routines, sparking curiosity, or simply being a warm and encouraging presence — I strive to support your child’s development holistically.
