Hi there! I'm Abbey, 24 years old and my pronouns are she/her. I am currently studying a Master of Speech Pathology and working part time at St Vincents Hospital. I am looking for some extra work alongside this though.
I have several years of experience working in caregiving and support roles, including nannying and disability support. Through this experience, I have developed a calm, compassionate, and reliable approach, while also being confident managing routines, providing emotional support, and assisting with daily living tasks.
I have my full driver’s licence and am happy to assist with transport, appointments, activities, errands, food preparation, household organisation, and general cleaning. I particularly enjoy creating organised and functional spaces, preparing nutritious meals, and helping make day-to-day life feel easier and more manageable for families and individuals.
I love building genuine connections with the people I support and enjoy engaging in activities such as cooking, going for walks, getting outdoors, arts and crafts, reading, and other meaningful activities tailored to individual interests and needs.
Originally from a small town near Echuca on a large cropping farm, I moved to Melbourne in 2021 for university. Outside of work and study, I enjoy running, being outdoors, playing netball, and spending time with friends and family.
