Meet Graziella: A nanny and babysitter in Doncaster, VIC

Hello! My name is Graziella, and I’m a qualified Paediatric Occupational Therapist with a Bachelor of Biological Science and a Master of Occupational Therapy Practice. I currently work with children of a variety of ages, abilities and developmental needs, which has given me valuable experience supporting children’s development, emotional regulation, play skills and everyday activities.

My love for working with children started long before my career in occupational therapy. Growing up with two brothers with disabilities, one with severe autism and the other with severe cerebral palsy, gave me firsthand experience caring for children with diverse needs from a young age. I began looking after my brothers when I was just 12 years old and took on a wide range of responsibilities, including preparing meals, helping with personal care, school drop-offs and pick-ups, organising activities and maintaining household routines. These experiences taught me patience, compassion, responsibility and the importance of making every child feel safe, understood and loved.

I also have several years of babysitting experience with children from different families and age groups, and I’m fortunate to have families who occasionally ask me to babysit again. Now, as a Paediatric Occupational Therapist, I bring both my professional knowledge and personal experience to caring for children. I enjoy getting to know each child’s unique personality, engaging them in fun and meaningful activities, and creating a positive environment where they feel comfortable and supported.

I understand how important it is for parents to feel confident leaving their children in someone else’s care. I’m reliable, caring, patient and attentive, and I always aim to make sure children feel happy, safe and well cared for while their parents are away.
