We’re a busy family looking for a caring, reliable babysitter to help with our two boys (ages 4 and 6). The role involves picking them up from day-care and school in our local area and caring for them at home until one of us returns from work (no later than 6pm). Hours are weekday afternoons, with occasional flexibility. We value someone who is responsible, enjoys engaging with kids, and can create a safe, fun environment for our children.

We are looking for someone to start babysitting with us on a regular basis, 3 days a week during school terms only.

We are a family of 5.
3 boys in primary school aged 7,9,11 (and a 4yo Dalmatian Dog)

The days we are looking for help are as follows:

Wednesday 3.30-8pm
Thursday 3.30-8pm
Saturday 8am-3pm (finishing time varies)

A mixture of school pick up’s and driving the boys to their after school activities, unpacking their school bags, tidying up, and help them to focus on homework when required.
Some experience with neurodivergence would be an advantage.

Two delightful sisters aged 6 and 9 with cerebral palsy are in need of kind, fun/energetic, reliable, carers who enjoy working in a team. The girls are non-verbal & use wheelchairs & walkers. They love music, swimming, playground adventures and community outings. They require assistance with all daily living tasks and use a range of mobility and medical equipment.

We are looking for carers who enjoy working collaboratively within a team and who are comfortable incorporating therapy goals (physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy) into everyday routines. Training will be provided.

Hours: 15- 40 per week (min 3 shifts per week)
Pay: $40/hr weekdays, $55/hr Sat, $70/hr Sun (Pay negotiable for candidates with significant experience or qualifications)

Weekday mornings: 6:30am- 9:30am
Weekday afternoons: 3-7pm (possible extension available)
Weekend mornings: 7-10am
Weekend afternoons 12:30pm- 7pm (cover shifts)
Additional shifts available during school holidays and weekend respite

We are looking for someone to care for the girls two afternoons per week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays while we are at work.

However, it's important that you forge a strong relationship with my kids, so I would be interested in you starting sooner on a less frequent basis, if that's of interest.

The boys speak French and English. Ideally, if you speak French that would be a huge bonus.
Looking for someone who doesn't get overly stressed about typical kid stuff, and doesn't mind the drive from Camberwell to Beaumaris. You must have your own vehicle and be happy having booster seats in the car when you drive them. Most likely looking for your help in the afternoons, Monday through Thursday, potentially eventually Friday mornings, too.

Must drive and have own car as it would involve taking him to and from school. Given he is eligible for funding the person must have an early child care qualification eg cert 3 in early childcare or currently studying it. If you do not hold this or working towards it I can’t hire you as funding criteria is strict about that.
