She is also starting to experience big emotions, so we are looking for someone who is able to help her identify her emotions and comfort her through any feelings that may overwhelm her. We would like a babysitter who adopts screen-free and child-led play, and someone who genuinely enjoys playing and engaging with toddlers and is willing to follow Aria’s cues and interests (which might mean potentially repeating the same word over and over again, or playing the same game over and over again!). We are looking for someone to delight in Aria, encourage her and help her understand her experiences.

Some things we will not be expecting you to do include: putting Aria to sleep, making food (other than getting pre-made snacks for Aria), cleaning/housework.

We're in need of a nanny for Thursday and Friday (12th and 13th of Feb) during the day from approximately 9am - 5pm.

We have a 9 mth old boy who needs help sitting up and supervision at all times. He can do commando crawling and play with toys on the floor. We feed him solids twice a day and bottle feeds otherwise. He naps about two times during the day each lasting from 30 mins to 1.5 hours, during which time you're expected to wash baby bottles and launder bibs and other baby items (he drools a lot). Both parents will be home, one working remote full time and one doing post op recovery.

We are a happy family of 3 with no pets seeking a professional caregiver to help our young son continue to thrive while his mother returns to work part time. This job is to care for a 17 month old boy. Up to 22 hours per week on a casual / ad-hoc basis: Hours are 9-5 mon & Tues and 9-3 Wed. We don't require assistance with house work, but do sometimes need assistance with preparing his meals; just taking what's available/ precooked out of the fridge - lunch and possibly dinner if he gets hungry earlier. Also cleaning up his tray and bib after each meal and rinsing his bottles to run the sterilizer on those would be appreciated. We are a family of four living in Eaglemont, just down the road from Eaglemont station. My husband and I both work full time and are looking for someone to support us with afternoon for our six year old daughter in year 1 and 4 year old son who is in kinder.

We are looking for someone Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday afternoons, from around 3pm in the afternoon to 5/5.30. We are also looking for someone to help out on Thursday morning, from 7-9am. The more critical hours are Monday and Tuesday afternoon, otherwise we are open to discussing hours, including whether a morning shift in addition to afternoon is required, or whether an early finish in the afternoon is needed.

The job will include picking kids up from school, daycare or kinder, helping our daughter with some basic homework, some minor things around the house like bringing in washing, unpacking the dishwasher. The key thing for us is though is the kids happiness, so this is the main job!

There is also opportunity for some full time days over the school holidays.

Job details:
Days and hours: 4 x 3.5 hour shifts per fortnight
Week one: Tuesday 5:30am – 9am
Week two: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 5:30am – 9am.

Location: Ivanhoe (School Drop off is also in Ivanhoe).

Pay rate: $34-$40 an hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

Shift type: Before School Care, assistance with morning routine and getting ready for school, followed by school drop off.
Number of children: You’d be caring for our gorgeous and delightful 6 year old boy.

Car: Require your own car to do school drop off.
The school is a 6-10 minute / 2.9km drive from our home.
We’d supply a car seat to use, including training in how to properly and safely fit and remove it.
Reimbursement for use of car is in line with the ATO rate: 88c per kilometer to cover petrol, insurance and usage etc. Given the distances are fixed, that’d be about $25 a fortnight.

Position duration: 12 months or longer.
*During the school holidays the hours may reduce a little bit however I’ll still need about 1-3 days a fortnight, as I’ll still mostly be working. Public holidays which change my RDOs may reduce the hours here and there as well.

Start date: Tuesday the 24/2/26.
We’d have one short meet and greet before that, and then ideally Monday 23/2/26 one practice shift (paid) with me there the whole time, including coming with me to drop off and to introduce you to his foundation teacher so she knows who you are.
