Our kiddos are neurodivergent, they attend the local Catholic school (200m from our home), AND they're full of life, curiosity, and a lot of energy! Husband and I are Canadian expats and full time professionals who mostly work in the city or offsite; work committments and the absence of informal support in Melbourne have faciliated our need to search for the right person to work with our family. We're flexible and easy going, and love sharing family trips and excursions with our boys.
We're looking for the right person to help the children thrive, engage them, and give them a chance to chill out after school, with plenty of giggles and smiles along the way. Experience working with autistic and/or children with ADHD is ideal; if you are warm and patient, our boys love making connections with adults - and the adults often find a relationship with our children rewarding!
Duties:
School pick-up; car not required
Light housework (mostly just tidying up, maybe folding clothes in a quiet moment)
Preparing dinner (we love simple, tasty meals, often using meal kits - but would be happy to shop for your recipes)
Adhoc depending-on-the-vibe activities might include homework, supervising the use of educational apps, practicing piano, occasional outing to the library, the opp shop, park, etc.

Hi! We are looking for a nanny as an ongoing position to care for our 2 year old twins (boy & girl) while my husband and I work from home 3 days a week.
Hours are 9am-5pm on Monday, Tuesday and Friday starting on Feb 10th. We can be flexible on days for the right candidate.
Caregiver to provide sole care for the twins at this time - including planning activities for the day, feeding lunch, napping, nappy changing and assisting with toilet training. No housework required other than cleaning up after the twins and maybe putting away a load of their washing.
The kids are at such a fun age where they love going to the park to run and jump around, but are also starting to learn structured activities like drawing/puzzles/playdoh. We are lucky to live in a location with many parks in walking distance and some great toddler friendly activities just a short drive away.
Experience with the 2-3 year age group and/or experience with multiples is preferred but not essential. Because we are working from home, on most days there should be at least one parent to lend a hand if required!
