I am a mum of 2 boys aged 6 and 8. I am looking for casual babysitting on the odd occasion that I need my kids to be looked after in the evenings during the week. This is my first time searching for someone to mind my children outside of family, so it is really important for me to find the perfect babysitter to understand my children's needs.
Just a little about my boys...
My 6 year old boy is very kind and affectionate and is usually very easy to get along and communicate with.
My 8 year old boy has recently been diagnosed with ADHD. There are moments where he may get worked up with minor things and we are all learning how to manage our new lifestyle with this, but deep down he is a caring and aware boy :)
The role for this job will include dinner time and bedtime routine mainly and you are welcome to entertain the boys with things they enjoy which is reading, lego and colouring in and whatever else they might feel like doing on the night.
Bedtime routine is usually easy. Once they brush their teeth and wear their pyjamas they will be in bed around 8.30-9.

I am looking for a carer for my 11 year old son on Wednesdays and Thursdays for the whole of the second semester. He is recovering from chronic fatigue and is only physically attending school for a couple of hours on Thursday morning. He is enrolled in Virtual School Victoria and only requires minimal supervision as he follows his online school schedule with regular rest breaks. His sister will need to be taken to school both mornings, but their school is only a block away so it is a very brief walk. The day would start at 8am and finish around 4pm most days. A fairly easy gig with a fairly self contained kid!

We live in Alphington. Our daughter is 1, and has a full time daycare spot, however I prefer her to be picked up from daycare by 5pm at the latest— which isn’t something my husband and I can always manage.

What I have in mind is:
Come to our house at around 4pm on Monday and Tuesday and Thursday (if that works with your other commitments, noting that we do have some flexibility about the days). Empty the dishwasher for us, chuck on a 15 minute wash, and hang out the washing.
Leave our house on foot at around 4:30pm to pick up Eliza from daycare. (It’s a 10-15 minute walk).
Pick up our daughter and walk her home in the pram. Most likely she will then just want to play for a while, though she may also want food, in which case we will ask you to start the process of giving her dinner (which will just involve microwaving some food we keep in the freezer).
We will then be home at around 530-6, or 630 at the latest.
