Mainly looking for saturday late afternoon and school holidays. All training and ongoing support is provided by me so no need for prior experience but this is highly regarded. You would need to have a passion for working with children and learning new skills as well as be adapatable and able to handle ongoing training and feedback. Someone who is working in or aspiring to work in behaviour support, occupational therapy, speech therapy or physio therapy would be perfect for this role as we work closely with these therapies and integrate goals into what we do with the children on a daily basis. After collecting the children from school/sport, main duties would be folding washing, preparing evening meal, one 'bigger job' per week (like clean windows or change sheets or wipe out fridge), perhaps a bit of ironing or prepping lunchbox snacks or some local errands. The boys have their own chores to help contribute, and need an adult nearby to ask, should they need help with homework but otherwise are pretty self-sufficient.

We also require someone who can serve them dinner and get them ready for bed, and while we don't expect any housecleaning, general tidy or unpacking their lunchboxes, or packing lunches for the next day is wonderfully helpful!

Caring for two boys, 5 & 7: play, dinner (ready to eat), bedtime routine (no bath, just pj's and brush teeth) etc. Very easy and mostly they play independently or do homework, you will simply keep an eye on them while hubby and I work - we will be around for any q's etc.
Ideally you will work Thursday and/or Tuesday evenings, 5 - 7:30 with no housework, or if you're willing to do light housework 3:45 - 7:15.
If you are interested in doing housework, it will be mostly: packing away toys, vacuum living/play areas, occasional laundry folding/pack, wipe down kitchen, wipe flat surfaces/mirrors, no heavy cleaning since we have a regular cleaner. But with two boys the house always gets messy.

Hello - we are a family of 5 located in Ashburton. We have three beautiful children - 9 y/o girl, 8 y/o boy and a 6 y/o boy - and are looking for a nanny to help with before and after school care on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Specific timing would be 7:15 am to 9:15 am and then from 3 pm to 6 pm. The additional hours to cover general tasks is flexible and we're happy to make the timing suit your schedule.
In the mornings (7:15 - 9:15 am) we are specifically looking for someone to assist with getting the kids ready for school and assist in drop off. There may be time for meal prep or after school snack prep. We are less than a 5 min walk to school so no driving required.
