We’re two full time working parents who have two boys (6 and 9) that are attending the Cranbrook junior school. The boys are good with routine and relatively self sufficient once at home. More just in need of reminders of time and tasks they need to get done.

We’re after help 2 to 3 days a week after school (3pm to 7pm) during the term. Pick up from school, help with homework, dinner and through baths. Any help you could offer during school holidays would be less structured.

Would require you to have a car. Hourly rate reflects.

Open to trying a couple of paid days prior to the term to test fit. Perhaps a couple of afternoons.

What we're looking for:
Someone who brings warmth, initiative and a genuine love of working with children. We value a calm, structured approach - especially for our baby who is on a nap schedule - so experience with baby sleep routines is ideal. It is very important that this person is punctual as my husband and I often have meetings in the morning and have to leave on time.

We are also looking for someone who also has flexibility around night times as we can have work events in the evening.

We'd love someone who is happy to prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children, keep things tidy and pitch in with light household chores (e.g dishes, folding and laundry) when the children are napping or playing independently. We want someone who is happy to lend a hand around the home during nap times (rather than just scrolling or waiting for time to pass - initiative is important to us!)

We're close to the beach and parks, and there is easy street parking and great public transport access. We're also very open to ideas for outings and activities - local libraries, playgrounds, museums, shows, baby sensory, Play studio - and of course happy to cover any reasonable costs for fun, enriching experiences you'd like to try with the kids. We have a strict no TV policy and prefer to minimise phone usage around our children.

We also have a dog so you need to be comfortable with pets.

Hello, we’re a family of four, living in Double Bay. We’re originally from London and I have a 5 year old at school and a 6 month old. The role would be to come every weekday before school, helping with the school run and breakfast, followed by nannying with the baby, and assisting me with/preparing dinner. It would be roughly 7.30am-3pm Monday - Thursday, and later into the evening on Fridays. But timings are all negotiable for the right candidate. The role will also include managing and organising the girls rooms and toys, and light housekeeping.

We’re looking for someone who will genuinely become part of the family as neither of us have family in Sydney. We’re warm, generous and really involved with our girls.

The role will include holiday pay, however, there is an expectation that we work together to take holidays at the same time that we travel, where possible. We travel back to Europe at least twice a year for a few weeks at a time. If you were to travel with us, there would be firstly no requirement to do so, but if you chose to, there would be additional pay.
