We are seeking a permanent nanny to care for our two children starting in November 2025.
We will be arriving in Sydney on 23rd/24th November. Both kids start school the week starting 13th Jan 2026. Based on this, we will need you for 35-40 hours every week until January 13th. After that, the schedule of morning drop-off and evening pick-up will take effect, which means fewer hours per week but regular hours. Additionally, we will appreciate your help during the holiday period. Although the total number of hours will vary, we will work with you a week in advance to ensure complete transparency and clear communication regarding your hours.
Hello, weโre a family of four, living in Double Bay. Weโre originally from London and I have a 5 year old at school and a 6 month old. The role would be to come every weekday before school, helping with the school run and breakfast, followed by nannying with the baby, and assisting me with/preparing dinner. It would be roughly 7.30am-3pm Monday - Thursday, and later into the evening on Fridays. But timings are all negotiable for the right candidate. The role will also include managing and organising the girls rooms and toys, and light housekeeping.
Weโre looking for someone who will genuinely become part of the family as neither of us have family in Sydney. Weโre warm, generous and really involved with our girls.
The role will include holiday pay, however, there is an expectation that we work together to take holidays at the same time that we travel, where possible. We travel back to Europe at least twice a year for a few weeks at a time. If you were to travel with us, there would be firstly no requirement to do so, but if you chose to, there would be additional pay.
As a full time role, weโre looking to pay approximately $70,000 p.a plus superannuation, for the right candidate.

Need to be strong personality that will not be swayed by my far-too-clever, always-bored and work-every-angle son! This can progress to two afternoons a week in term time if it suits your schedule.
