I’m soon to start back to work for a few days a week; and looking for the right baby sitter to support the load. A few days a week, my daughter will need to be dropped to childcare, with return home to assist with my 10 week old while I’m either online on the office or popping into the office for a few hours here and there. Extra support with the house work would be amazing, though primarily caring for our little boy.

What the role entails
- Baby sleeps alot in the day, so at time you may find yourself occupied with a couple of general house works.
- Walks with baby to the park (pram and carrier provided).
- If nanny cooks e.g toddlers dinner etc there is bonus!
- Need to let Mum work while at home so prefer for the baby sitter/nanny to find themselves occupid elsewhere around the home or outdoors whichever is suitable at the time.

I have a fab 6 (nearly 7 year old) - Grace - and we are looking for some help on a regular basis. We previously had a Uni student big sister, she was with us for 4 years and just got a full time job so is wrapping up with us. Im looking for that uni student profile and age.

Bit about us - I'm a busy full time working single mum looking for someone who feels more like a big sister than a formal nanny/babysitter to be part of our little family. Someone warm, reliable, organised and fun. Currently we are can looking at every week on a Thursday, but there is an option for tuesday aswell.

What does it involve?
Grace is at Woollahra Public school and we live within walking distance. Thursday would be collecting her from aftercare around 4pm, bringing her home, some games/homework, making her dinner and get her in the bath/shower. Im home between 6 and 7. But I always pay 4-7pm as the hours. Sometimes I will have work events and stay out a bit later too.

If we did a Tuesday that would be taking her to dance class at bondi junction and dropping her at her dads. Hours for that would be, 4-6pm.

We provide a credit card for all expenses (treats from the shop!) and the car too if needed.

This specific job is for Monday 10 November 2025 to Saturday 16 November 2025 whilst I am travelling for work. I have two children (aged 13 and 9) - details of what a "usual" day would look like have been outlined below:
- Morning: drop off including 13 year old to bus stop nearby and 9 year old to school (approximately 20 mins away) - can be dropped off from 7:20am to before school care
- Afternoon: 13 year old self sufficient and will get themselves home, 9 year old needs collecting at approximately 6pm from either school or swimming lessons
- Evening: cook dinner, ensure nightly tasks are done including homework and lunchboxes and uniforms for the next day
- Overnight: stay overnight in a private room (my room)

Note that the 13 year old has Type 1 Diabetes and is largely self sufficient. Their dad and I are not together however he lives close to the 9 year old's school and can be available in the case of an emergence however I need support on a day to day basis. Food/fridge all provided, no shopping required however will need to prepare dinners (will stock freezer with very easy/straight forward meals). Car a must and first aid important given medical matters with the eldest.

Would look to ongoing support for work travel if a success!

Duties would be: pick her up from school, supervise homework, play and/or take her to after school sports or piano lessons (all local in Mosman). We can be quite flexible: we'd need someone 2 days out of the 4 days that I work (Monday to Thursday). Several of her sports are at Balmoral so you would need a car and drivers licence, please (its too far to walk, from our house!). Our house is in the Sirius Cove area. We are seeking a permanent nanny to care for our two children starting in November 2025.
We will be arriving in Sydney on 23rd/24th November. Both kids start school the week starting 13th Jan 2026. Based on this, we will need you for 35-40 hours every week until January 13th.
