Hi, I’m Rue. I completed 1 year of a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and 3 years of a Bachelor of Nursing in the Philippines, but I wasn’t able to finish (both are 4 yr course) due to my move here to Australia. I’m currently studying Kitchen Management because my dream is to open my own restaurant back home in the Philippines. Back in the Philippines, I volunteered as an emergency service provider for Detente y Ayuda (DYA) ambulance services. I’m also a proud member of the Rotary Club and part of a youth association that organizes school retreats and outreach programs. I genuinely love working with children — I’m patient, caring, and know how to manage different personalities. I have experience with babysitting, doing household chores, and I can also help kids with their homework or assignments. I’m good at creating a calm and safe environment for them, whether it’s playing, studying, or simply making sure they feel heard. Right now, I’m also in the process of converting my Philippine nursing license here in Australia and working hard to save up for my own car. I’m passionate, reliable, and always ready to lend a hand — especially when it comes to caring for others.

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi! I'm Lori, and I'm 26 years old. Originally from a small country town in northern Victoria, I made the move to the Gold Coast in 2019 to commence my university studies. I have just graduated with a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics at Griffith University, although wanting to have a break/put my career on pause and work until I figure out which direction I want to take (paediatrics being my main passion area). My journey has been quite diverse. I initially studied Primary Teaching for a year and absolutely loved my time spent with kids during my teaching placements. I've also had the incredible opportunity to live in London, where I worked in a school environment as a teacher's assistant. It was during this time that I had the privilege of working one-on-one with children who have Special Educational Needs (SEN). This experience was incredibly rewarding and added a new dimension to my skill set. In terms of my babysitting experience, I have been a nanny for kids of ages ranging from 6 months old - 14 years old, of which I am more than happy to provide references upon request. I believe my diverse experiences have prepared me well for this path, and I'm excited to continue pursuing my passion for working with children. I look forward to hearing for you if you think I would be the perfect fit!

Looking for: Casual Babysitting

Hi, I’m Katherine! I’m 22 years old and an experienced babysitter who would love the opportunity to nanny for a family looking for someone like me :) I have cared for a couple of families with children aged from 4 years to 12 years old and have frequently looked after cousins from 7 months old. I am a positive, enthusiastic and outgoing person, who finds caring for kids the most rewarding and enjoyable job in the world. I’ve learnt patience and empathy through caring for kids, and the importance of being warm and understanding as at the end of the day, these are childrens minds and hearts I am helping to grow, which is an amazing thing to get to experience. I love outdoor sensory play, trips to the park or taking the baby for a walk in the pram, quiet time reading books, arts and craft as well as baking with the kids. I aim to foster a creative and fun space, but also a deeper relationship where they can trust me. I‘m super clean and organised, and have no problem doing housework, cooking meals, cleaning up after play and have experience with school drops-offs/pick-ups. I am cpr trained as a mandatory requirment through becoming a swimming instructor and i understand the importance of maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for a child, and aim to prioritise that fully. I love working closely with parents to learn what parenting styles work for them, and how to implement any techniques into my time spent with the kiddos. Please feel free to get in touch if you have anymore questions regarding me and my experience, or if I seem a good fit for your family. I look forward to chatting with you :)
