Meet Monica: A babysitter in Greenvale, VIC

I am a student-teacher, who is a hardworking and responsible individual, passionate about facilitating understanding and growth in young people through education. Through babysitting, I am seeking an opportunity to gain vital experience working with children and young people, that would allow me to learn and develop the skills necessary for a future in the education industry. Above all, in my work, I aim to create a safe and inclusive environment for every child under my care, fostering strong relationships, built on a foundation of genuine trust and connection. I have a love of cooking and both first aid and CPR qualifications covering infant to adult care. Ensuring that they always feel safe, understood and are adequately nurtured in your absence. Additionally, as a student-teacher, I have plenty of experience working one-on-one with students in an educational setting. Therefore, alongside typical babysitting duties, I am more than happy to read and provide homework help. My areas of qualification include: reading, writing and math for primary, and history, english and politics for secondary. However, more specifically, my experience with children primarily ranges from ages 5-6, as I am currently completing my second-year placement teaching two foundation classes.
