Meet Alice: A nanny and babysitter in Broadmeadows, VIC

Hi, my name is Alice. I’m 23 years old and a Psychology graduate from RMIT University, where I completed a Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology).

I have always enjoyed working with children, and throughout my university studies, I regularly worked part-time as a babysitter. This gave me the opportunity to care for children of different ages and personalities, and I have really enjoyed getting to know each child and creating a comfortable and trusting relationship with them.

I’m a warm, caring and responsible person, and I always make sure children feel safe, supported and happy while they are in my care. I enjoy keeping them engaged with fun and age-appropriate activities, whether that’s playing, reading, doing creative activities, spending time outdoors, or simply being there to support their daily routines.

Studying Psychology has also given me a deeper understanding of children’s emotions, behaviour and individual needs. I believe this helps me communicate with children patiently and positively, while also understanding that every child is different.

I would love the opportunity to become a trusted and reliable part of a family and provide their children with the same care, attention and kindness I would want for my own family.
