Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi! I’m Issy. I grew up with full-time working parents in Singapore, so I know the importance of having reliable help - I want to be that person! I'm currently a demi pair for a rambunctious 6 year old boy. I previously worked as an after-school care teacher, and also recently worked as an au pair, taking care of their 14 month old and playing big sister to their 9 year old and 12 year old. I worked in creative comms before coming to Australia. I speak Mandarin and English (the mode of instruction is English where I come from), and enjoy nurturing the unique creativity of every child! While I'm a classic introvert at heart and value personal space, I also enjoy forging meaningful connections and exploring adventures.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi Families, I am a Paediatric and Child Health Nurse, working parttime currently as a nurse and supplementing my income with nanny work, which I love. I am an expert in the care of newborns, infants and toddlers. I have been a nurse for 13 years and prior to that, a professional nanny for 8 years, and I am a mother myself with a 10 year old at home. I am warm and gentle, professional, and an excellent communicator. I love to sing, read aloud, play imaginary games, bake and create art. I can prepare and cook nutritious gluten free, vegetarian, vegan and allergy friendly foods from scratch - including baby foods, purees and finger foods. I also change nappies, prepare formula and EBM, sterilise equipment, manage baths, change sheets and clean children's spaces, do washing, and all the other incidental tasks related to care of infants and toddlers. I also have no issue with caring for them when they are unwell with colds or other minor illness (unlike daycare for example) and can administer medicines. If this sounds like it might be a good fit, please get in touch. Whether one off or regular, I look forward to supporting your family. Jacinta

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I am a mother of twin 32 young women, I raised them by myself. They have spread their wings and are no longer living with me. I very much miss being an "active mum", 33 years olds like to make their own way in the world. I very much enjoy spending time with young people and watching them grow.I am more than happy to support the parents with the way they discipline & set routines.I think open and honest communication is the only way to go. I have worked with many families & loads of children of all different ages & needs. One particular family i have worked with for 8yrs. Starting when he was just 11months. I treat each child as individuals & love to play & support where they are on their adventure. Keeping light & breezy but still have strong boundaries. I also worked for many years as a support and advocacy worker in the disability field. Both physical and mental health . This was a very challenging role which required lots of patience, caring and understanding, this has also carried over to my care of children. I can be very flexible and know the challenges of parenting and working. I dont mind doing light housework, picking up after or with the young person. And packing/unpacking the dishwaser, as long as it doesnt cut into time with the child. Thank you for reading, Jane

Hi Parents! My name is Madi I'm 23yrs old and I'm looking for casual baby sitting jobs as I work as a registered nurse and work a rotating roster of all shifts, AM/PM/Nightduty. My hours would vary depending on what my roster looks like but I am happy to move shifts around if I can. As a nurse I am CPR and first aid certified for all ages and I have a blue card. I would like to think of myself as kind, compassionate and patient type of person. I have a caring nature and would love be an extra pair of hands to help with your little ones. I am very positive and always do the best I can. I also don't mind helping with household chores and I love pets as well (as long as they are friendly of course). A little bit about me, I love to garden and care for plants, read books and watch movies, go outside and be in the sunshine and go to pilates. I would also prefer the jobs to be paid in cash if possible. I also ask that your little ones are all up to day with their vaccinations, as I work in a hospital environment, just want to keep everyone safe. If you think I would be a great fit for your family please send me a mesaage.

Looking for: Casual Babysitting

Hi! I’m Sofie. I’m currently in my second year of Nursing, working toward becoming a paediatric nurse, a career that reflects my passion for caring and helping children. I come from a European background where family, respect, and responsibility are a big part of everyday life, and I bring those values into my work with children. I’m fully vaccinated, have my NDIS Yellow Card, First Aid & CPR, a recent Police Check, and Blue Card. I enjoy cooking simple, healthy meals and am happy to help with light housework to support busy families. Having one year of experience working with children, my experiences began and continue with a family of 4 children ages 6 months to 6 years old. These experiences helped me understand how to support children at different stages of development and how important it is to be patient, creative, and attentive to their individual needs. Even though I’m still building experience, I’m responsible, gentle, and genuinely love working with children. I understand how important it is to create a safe, warm, and fun environment — and I’m excited to support your family however I can.
