Meet Dominika: A nanny and babysitter in Maroubra, NSW

Hi! I’m Dominika, a child psychologist and psychotherapist from Prague, Czech Republic.

I’m 29 years old and currently living in Maroubra with my partner, as he works as a research assistant at UNSW.

I’ve been working with children throughout my adult life. During my studies, I spent two years working at a residential centre for teenage mothers and their children, caring for and supporting children up to two years old. I have also led children’s clubs and sports camps.

My professional background is in psychology and psychotherapy, and I have extensive experience working with children and adolescents. I genuinely love spending time with children and creating a safe, fun and positive environment for them. I especially enjoy children’s spontaneity and the way play allows me to become a child again for a little while.

I love being active, surfing, spending time in nature, and having fun outdoors.

** I’ve only recently moved to Sydney, so I don’t have a car yet, but I’m currently working on getting one.
