I am a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic young adult who genuinely loves working with children and supporting families. I have completed Year 12 and currently work at Water Wombats, where I support children in warm-water programs that focus on confidence, emotional regulation, and comfort in the water. Many of the children I work with have disabilities or additional needs, including sensory sensitivities, anxiety, or developmental differences, which has helped me develop patience, empathy, and a strong ability to adapt to each childโs individual needs.
I truly enjoy spending time with children and find it incredibly rewarding to support their growth, confidence, and independence. In my role, I help create a calm, safe, and encouraging environment, follow structured routines, and support children one-on-one so they can feel secure and successful at their own pace. I love celebrating small wins and building trusting relationships with the children I care for.
Previously, I have worked as a swim teacher and assisted with teaching dance to younger children, helping them build confidence, coordination, and self-expression in a fun and supportive way.
I hold a current police check and CPR certification and place a strong emphasis on safety, trust, and clear communication with families. I am responsible, approachable, and genuinely excited to care for children as if they were my own, creating a positive, nurturing environment where they feel safe, happy, and supported.
