**My current full time family are transitioning into childcare full time. As much as I love my family I am looking for a full time position from June 2025** **currently booked out for November/December/ January/February/March, April/May 2025** Hi I’m Sarah, My daughter is now 23 and has left the nest. I have been in the corporate sector for 15 years, and a private Nanny for the past 10 years and spend my time babysitting family, friends and friends of friends children by word of mouth. I’ve now decided to follow my passion and continue to look after children. I adore children and they are my passion. Not only do I love to look after children, which then in turn helps a family in its entirety, but to watch the children grow and nurture them whilst Mum and Dad are busy is a complete privilege to me. It’s an honour. I always have a smile on my face, am always positive, fun, loving, warm natured and structured. I am extremely punctual and follow Mum and Dads requirements. I currently am a private Nanny working with a family firstly as a their night Nanny to their 4 week old baby and established a sleep routine and now have transitioned to 4 days with her (now 10 months). I’m most happy to pick up a Monday or assist with casual babysitting on weekends on weeknights or on Mondays, if the family and position are a perfecr fit would be open to full time role with a family as i am looking for long term as i love creating realtionships with my families and their children. I am most happy to assist with cooking, cleaning, meal/lunch prep, ironing etc. it is my absolute privilege to be able to be apart of your family and I do not take it lightly. I love completing homework and getting outside with the children and exploring what the outside world has to offer and switch off from technology for a while. After school activities are not a problem at all. I have been full time nannying for a family who is now unfortunately moving interstate. The importance of looking after your children is second to none. I believe routine is important, however, fun is too when tasks have been accomplished. I love encouragement, being joyful, empathetic and i am extremely very adaptable to all children’s/young adult needs. I also have experience with children with special needs including autism. To simply put it, I adore children, as our children are our future. And, currently the world we live in we must appreciate our children’s innocence, even if only for a while - without so much technology i might add! ’. I hope to be the person that children have memories of when they are older, just like i do to this very day. Just pure happy memories.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I am a single mother of a sixteen year old boy, myself. My alternate stream/(s) of income predominantly involve the instruction and assessment of swimming and water safety skills; first aid; resuscitation/CPR; lifesaving skills; advanced aquatic rescue techniques; and, self-defence. With the majority of those students, being children aged between six months and sixteen years of age. I additionally, also facilitate and run, professional development training courses alongside some Lifeguarding roles. Other relevant previous roles I've held, include being a Voluntary Children's Football/Soccer Coach; Volunteer Lifesaving Patroller, Training and Development Director and Mentor for Nippers and Teens for a Life Saving Club; a Children's Party Host; and have occasionally held science "fun lab" and Martial Arts demonstrations for school students at varying levels and certain community events. I am experienced and comfortable working with, and around children of all ages. Many of which, having had different cultural/religious/ethnical/economical/educational backgrounds, lifestyles and abilities. My experience also includes the successful provision of education/instruction, supervision and guidance of children with physical/medical/intellectual/psychosocial disabilities, learning difficulties, mental illness and those on different levels of the autism spectrum, and even overcoming (to a degree) language barriers over the years spent in the above roles striving to assist every child and their parents being able to set and focus on continuously working towards attaining their own, realistically achievable, short/long-term goals over time. I feel that it is important for children to experience the joy and sense of accomplishment, having actively put in the effort required to achieve each of these goals. I believe it is not only beneficial to the child physically/psychologically/mentally, but have also found it can provide their parents/caregivers with a little bit of comfort and more peace of mind, knowing that with every goal achieved - and the effort applied in doing so, carries with it, an expansion of their child's future potential, and opportunities that await them in years to come.
