Meet Karlene: A nanny and babysitter in Prahran, VIC

I’m a 28 year old full-time nursing student and nanny, living in Windsor. I’ve just finished my studies for the year and have new availability (from 9 Nov - 19 Dec) to help with mornings and nights. I may not be the long term solution for your family, but I’ll be happy to help in any way that I can while you find your perfect fit ☺️

My current nannying roles include:

- Tuesdays for a wonderful family with a 6 year old son, 2 year old daughter and puppy

- As needed nannying (currently 5 days a week) for a beautiful busy family with a 6 year old son and two daughters (4 and 3 years old).

- casually for multiple families across Melbourne

and am now looking for additional roles!

Previously to my current roles, my childcare experience includes:

🍀 An assistant educator at a childcare centre for infants and toddlers

🍀 A private nanny for a family of 6 (children ages 7, 6, 4, 2)

🍀 The on-call childcare for my 3 incredible nieces (now aged 8, 6, 1) since birth

🍀 Occasional recent babysitting through this website

I’m happy to help with playtime, homework, meals, bedtime routines, school drop off/pick up and anything else that pops up. I’m also happy to help with light housework. At the end of the day, I want to make your lives easier. I find working with families through nannying so rewarding! My goal is to provide families with someone they can trust and children with someone they’ll enjoy spending time with.

If interested, I can also provide families 2.5 hour baby and child first aid education sessions through Patched Up First Aid.
