Hi I'm Oshi. Though I come from corporate sector I have always been passionate to work with kids as I enjoy my time with them, so my friends have apways told me I'd be a perfect fit to be a nursery teacher. Growing up, I always tried to find time to look after kids around the neighbourhood and take care of them.I know parents were always happy to see me coming over simply cause they could take a break from their otherwise tiring day. I love looking after kids of my friends when I can. But If i go to a kids birthday party, you may find me among kids and not with adults, simply cz I feel at ease.So I've gotten the exposure of looking after kids, feeding them, doing fun activities, setting them up for nap times, and give the lot of love and hugs. I have also studied music, dancing and art and have also taught kids as an assistant to my teachers whilst learning.I love cooking and incorporating veges and fruits to make hearty meals so I will surely be able to sneak some veges to your kids meals.I may not yet have all the qualifications needed, but I am keen on adding them along my journey of child care. I relocated to Melbourne from Qld, where I had lived and worked for the past 4 years, working in an Early childhood centre as a Lead Educator running a 2-3 yr old room. Prior to this I was working in London for 7+ years working as a full-time, Live-out private Nanny (2 long term families who I was with for 3+years each, and lots of casual/holiday Nanny jobs in between. I and am very flexible with hours. I will be based in Melton but will considering travelling for the right job/family! Emmy-Lou was very anxious when parting with her parents, Immediately I was quick acting in thinking of ideas to distract Emmy-Lou from her parents being away. During my time with Emmy-Lou I would bath, change nappies, assist her with brushing her teeth, prepare her for bed and prepare food for her when she was hungry. During the day I would prepare activities such as painting, drawing, toy-play and other hobbies of hers. I also looked after two girls - aged 6 & 8 for around 6 months, where we also created a 'Big-sister' relationship and had movie nights every Friday together. Further more I looked after two girls Aged 1 and a half and 2 years old, occasionally with their 8 year old brother, so am more then capable of entertaining several children!
