We are a warm, professional family of 3 seeking an experienced, nurturing and reliable full-time nanny to care for our energetic and affectionate 2-year-old son.
Both parents work full time, so we are looking for someone who can become a trusted and consistent part of our family routine throughout the week.
About the Role
* Full-time position (Monday–Friday)
* Location Hawthorn East
* 40-45 hours per week (with flexibility for additional hours)
* Long-term role
* Start date ASAP
Responsibilities
* Providing attentive and fun care at home
* Planning and taking our boy out on age-appropriate activities, outings and play
* Preparing meals and snacks (our son has a couple of allergies so attentive meal prep is a key part of the role)
* Managing naps and daily routines
* Some light household duties as they relate to our boy such as tidying toys, children’s laundry, meal prep and clean-up
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
* Warm, attentive and genuinely loves working with young children
* Experienced caring for toddlers
* Proactive, organised and dependable
* Comfortable creating structure and routine
* A confident communicator with a calm nature
* Ideally you will love dogs as we have an overly affectionate little terrier who will love your company too!
Essential Requirements
* Previous nanny or childcare experience
* Current Working With Children Check
* First Aid and CPR certification
* Driver’s licence
* References required
