We’re looking for a part time Nanny/House Manager to help support our busy family home.
We have 2 children (1 at school, 1 at kinder 3 days) and a baby on the way.
We are looking for someone reliable, organised and proactive who genuinely enjoys helping keep a home running smoothly as well as caring for both babies and small children.
I need a second Mum for the house!
We already have a weekly cleaner, so the role is focused on caring for the baby and 4yr old when I am working and helping keep the house maintained and organised day to day.
Tasks include:
- Looking after our youngest child in shifts once he is born (due in Oct.).
- Helping with our 4yr old daughter on her non kindergarten days, again on and off throughout the day while I work/get things done around the house
- Creating play, interaction and imaginative activities with the children
- Helping with feeds, sleeps and general routines
- General tidying and keeping the house organised
- Laundry, folding and putting clothes away
- Kitchen resets and dishwasher (the older kids help with this too)
- Weekly meal prep and fridge organisation
- Preparing lunchbox snacks for the week and ensuing fridge and pantry are stocked for lunches
- Grocery pick up and unpacking groceries
- School pickup and drop as necessary (walking distance from home)
- Depending on the hours we all agree which I am flexible to change week to week or ad hoc as we require, help with after school sport and activities or babysitting etc…
We live very close to the Sandringham village and train line, so you can walk to the beach, library, shops etc.
We are looking for someone warm, trustworthy and able to work independently without needing constant direction.
Someone who has a good attention to detail and cares deeply for children and engaging with them at their level.
Ideally we would like someone who can start 2 days per week (Tuesday and Thursday) and grow to join us up to 30 hours per week in the new year (January).
We would love someone looking for a long term role and hoping to join our family as not only a carer but a friend to our children.
Willing to pay appropriately for spectacular people!
Approx. 24-34 hours per week Monday to Thursday from Feb 1 2027.
Flexibility with hours, ideally you will have a car with child seats to help with before and after school activities and sports
